“You can count on me like one, two, three, I'll be there. And I know when I need it, I can count on you like four, three, two, and you'll be there.
'Cause that's what friends are supposed to do” -Bruno Mars
Welcome to DBB
Do you ever feel alone in the world, like nobody is there for you and you can only deal with life's challenges all on your own? Well those feelings lie to you, because everyone has someone they can always go to. We call those kinds of people best friends, and they'll always be by our side. Whether it comes to relationship issues, personal improvement, fighting monsters and saving the universe hundreds of times, or simply just wanting to play some games with your bro. Many cartoons throughout the years have displayed good friendships and their perfect attributes. But only these shows show these Friendships being great not only because of their flaws, but because they can fight through anything together. But be warned, don't think being friends with either of these groups is gonna be easy..you gotta prepare for constant danger, hardcore food runs, and one mommy of an adventure…

Finn and Jake: the Ultimately Heroic Boy and Dog duo of Adventure Time
Mordecai and Rigby: the Totally Eggscellent Slacker duo of Regular Show
You know me, FMT
And it's time to see which Power Packing Pair has the best Arsenal, Abilities and Actions to find out who will be sentenced to Death By Blog
Before We Begin
Now these shows have a LOT of material added onto them. Whether it be non canon material, stories, comics, games..yeah it's a LOT. So we're using everything? Well no, we're only using content that doesn't directly contradict anything about the main series. So as long as it's not directly confirmed to be non canon, then it'll be used.
So for Adventure Time mostly everything will be used. The Show and its specials, Distant Lands, Fionna and Cake, the video games, the comics, and basically anything you'd expect from an Adventure Time analysis. As for the non canon content, we won't be using the pilot, and some music videos made by fans. What about the comics? Well there is some stuff that's considered non-canon but should be fine to use. What we won't use however is the Season 11 comics, Encyclopedia and Simon & Marcy…because they're blatantly non canon. What about the Enchiridion book? And Marcy’s scrapbook? While they do introduce storylines and world building that is different from later on in the show, it does build upon the series and is still considered part of that continuity. And it generally doesn't contradict too much about the characters and their world…so yes they're fine to use.
As for Regular Show, basically the same case. We'll be using the main show, the movie, the specials, the comics, the games and the Books. We'll also use Close Enough for verse scaling, if you read the Brody vs Muscle Man blog then you know why this is the case but I will re-explain this in BTV. Now are the comics canon? Well there's no confirmed statement but the comics don't contradict anything about the show, they even add up to events that happen in the show at the same time, so yeah comics are fine to use. The only thing we won't be using is the Holiday story episodes. Yes they'll be used for verse scaling (this will also be explained again) but we won't use some of them for the actual characters since as said before they're just made up stories in the character's perspective. However some stories will be considered….
As for the Adventure Time x Regular Show comic crossover, while there's no confirmation for its canonicity (it was made by the same comic studios so you could definitely interpret it as Canon or connected to both in some way) We won't be using crossover scaling, but we'll use verse and lore statements…
Connections
- Main adventurous duos of 2000s Cartoon Network shows
- Bros that love chilling out, eating cool food, and playing video games
- Always go on random irregular adventures while having the most normal days
- Even though they're not biological, they consider each other brothers that have known each other since they were toddlers
- The blue guys have had to deal with many issues about themselves, their insecurities, and their love lives which their friends have helped them with
- The shorter friends, while lazy and immature, have developed a lot throughout their life and even gained peak relationship status’
- They would also help their friends with issues they have and be there for their bros..(despite not helping at all or making things worse sometimes)
- Even though both friendships have had their issues and differences, they always stick by each others sides and pull through even world ending threats together
History
Finn and Jake
Background
Finn ️
“On that day,I vowed to help anyone in need, no matter how small their problem!"
Because there was adventure, before there was magic to roam through, there was an island. There have been many islands throughout the world, some filled with magic, but this island was more normal than fantastical..it was an island full of humans. On Central Island, con-man Martin Mertens and work horse Minerva Campbell fell in love and lived a pretty normal life together in a normal world. But “normal" would change when Minerva gave birth to their son, a wonderful little baby filled with life, his name was Finn Mertens. They would try their best to raise their child together and be great parents, unfortunately Martin would end up destroying a perfect life with his imperfect past. An old enemy knocked on life's door and he chose to jump out the window, Martin would flee his home with Finn while Minerva was working the night away. He attempted to run away in a raft with his son, but a guardian would soon attack the raft and leave Martin and Finn separated. Martin would leave his son behind, and Finn would be left floating adrift in a lonely world. The raft would end up in a new land, a magical land named Ooo, and Finn would find himself a new home…
Finn was but an infant trying to explore the world he was lost in…While exploring a forest Finn would go boom-boom on a leaf, he fell backwards on the leaf and straight up on his boom-boom.
Finn would cry and cry, but no one would want to help him and would only go past him. That was until 2 married dogs would find him, rescue him from the wilderness, and bring him into their home. Joshua and Margaret raised Finn along with their children Jake and Jermaine, they would become Finn's adoptive brothers. Finn and Jake were especially close with each other and saw each other as true brothers, one day Joshua and Margaret brought all of them to a very big Treehouse, a very lively treehouse. On that day, Finn and Jake promised each other that they would become adventurers, live in this treehouse, and adventure the day away for the rest of their lives. From that day on, Finn and Jake would become heroes, living in that treehouse, becoming knights for the princess of the candy kingdom, meet many new friends (and have lots of relationship issues), and go through the greatest of adventures together. Whenever Finn thinks about any problem that seems small or difficult, he thinks about that day he sat on his Boom-boom and how nobody helped him until Joshua and Margaret brought him in. That made Finn know that he would help anyone in need…no matter how small their problem..
Jake 索
“Makin’ Pancakes, Makin' Bacon Pancakes, take some bacon and I'll put it in a Pancake.”
This world is weird, dangerous, and straight up bonkers…too many things are left unchecked, and that's why it's up to Joshua and Margaret investigations! This married dog couple ventures through mysterious places, scoping out the unusual and vanquishing the evil in this world. Joshua especially favored the thrill of adventure and investigation, and he was a badass through and through. He would venture through the worst of dungeons, battle demons and spirits, and even rival aliens…although that last part did kinda mess him up a little bit. While being infected by some sort of alien parasite, his wife Margaret was pregnant with their child, so they had a lot to deal with. But unexpectedly, while Margaret was going to give birth to their son, Joshua's egg parasite in his head would pop..and soon both would see their first born son. A lively and wild child that would even dance from birth, they would name him Jake…but you can call him Jake the Dog. Joshua and Margaret would raise Jake along with their other son Jermaine, but they noticed that Jake was special, he had powers that allowed to stretch to whatever his desire, although they seemed to be fine with this obviously.
Everything would change when Joshua and Margaret brought back another son from a trip, a human named Finn. Jake and Jermaine would become Finn's adoptive brothers, and they would continue to be raised by Joshua and Margaret. Unfortunately before they could become heroes, Jake would live a life of crime with a number of people, and he would be one hell of a criminal. Although one day Jake would realize that this was not the life he wanted, this was all wrong, and he would fulfil the promise he made to Finn instead. From that day on, Finn and Jake would become heroes, living in that treehouse, becoming knights for the princess of the candy kingdom, meet many new friends (Jake even got a sweet girlfriend named Lady Rainicorn), and go through the greatest of adventures together. Sure Jake would sometimes be lazy and as childish as ever, but he will always protect his brother and all of his family, because it's what his badass dad Joshua would've done..
Character Development
“This feels weird…I used to be all about violence, now it's like…I'm different!”
“You're a beautiful flower and I like to watch you grow…”
While it may not seem like it, Finn and Jake have actually undergone lots of development throughout their life, really working on themselves and on their problems…
Finn:
When Finn and Jake became the knights for the princess of the Candy Kingdom, Finn developed a massive crush on her. He was practically in love with her, although while the age gap was very concerning, she would continue to kiss him and basically enable his feelings for her. She only pushed him away whenever Finn wanted to show that he loved her, but this all taught Finn something very important. Finn realized Bubblegum would never love him, and he was ready to move on with someone he really had a thing with, Flame Princess. This really helped him learn that sometimes you don't get what you want in life, and the the best thing you could do is just move on in life and find something else. He learned that he just had to move on from parts of his life that he tried so hard to attain, because eventually he just has to realize the truth and adventure through life once more.
While Finn would be with Flame Princess for a good amount of time, he eventually donked it all up because…he was Horny. No really, Finn had a dream about Flame Princess and the Ice King fighting while FP shot flames at his boingaloings?? Yeah it's weird, but Finn took a step too far and tried forcefully making this dream happen despite the obvious issues it would cause. Finn says some really messed up stuff about Flame Princess just to make her and Ice King fight each other, thankfully he realizes this was incredibly fucked up of him especially since he almost killed Ice King and reveals to Flame Princess this was all him. Yeah she obviously didn't take it well at all, he said personal stuff about her and their relationship against her and basically risked the lives of so many people. Understandably, Flame Princess broke up with him, but thankfully Finn was actually sorry about this and he learned to mature more from this point on…
After a bunch of crazy biz involving the Lich, finding his dad in a cosmic prison named the citadel, Finn realizing his dad is a bag of dumb jerk, and stopping the Lich almost indefinitely; Finn would try and stop his dad from leaving his life again, but this would cause Finn to lose his army, which was kinda foreshadowed throughout the series. Finn at first was detrinented by this and sorta wanted revenge for it by finding his dad again, but he would learn to accept it, accept that maybe this was meant to happen, and that this was ok. Finn would then find out that he was the reincarnation of a catalyst comet, he would reshape his world when he landed on it.
Another Catalyst Comet would come and reshape their world, but Finn would come to accept that maybe some things just happen in life. Everything happens for a reason, so what's the point in fighting it? But despite this, Finn is still a hero, he still wants to protect people, so Finn decides to break destiny and face it himself. Finn learned to accept fate, but he also learned to control his own fate. Everything really took a turn in his life when he and Susan Strong went on a trip to Central Island, Finn finally met more people like him and learned about where he came from. Finn would finally learn more about himself, and he would finally accept his past and his role in life..
But everything would truly change when Princess Bubblegum's Uncle Gumbald would come back and wage war on the Candy Kingdom. You may think that Finn would be hyped up to get in battle and fight as much as he can right? Finn is usually a character that loves violence and adventure and would go out of his way to ensure it. But perhaps all these years of seeing consequences to his actions, accepting his fate in this world, and experiencing life at its best showed Finn that violence can't solve everything.
Finn actually tried convincing Bubblegum to stop the war and find a peaceful way to end it, he even tried talking with Gumbald about it. This truly shows how much Finn changed from a young kid who wanted to fight all the time to a matured young man who wanted to solve problems the right way. In the end this approach worked, and Finn would find a peaceful way to end such a huge conflict that could have destroyed the lives of many. Finn would continue to live a nice life for many many years, that was until..the worst that could've happened…happened..
Jake died.
Jake passed away fairly early into Finn’s life, Finn would be absolutely ruined. He tried his best to live his life without Jake, but it was obvious that this affected him detrimentally. He constantly hung out with Jake's kids and grandkids in order to try and make amends for the fact Jake was truly gone. He clearly wanted to fill a very large void in his life, he clearly wanted to have something else with him, he felt alone and he had no way to accept this.
Thankfully even later in his life, Finn used many lessons he learned beforehand to help him be guided on his path to recovery. But unfortunately nothing changed the fact he missed Jake badly, he waited for the day he died just so he could see Jake again. Sure Finn tried his best to reconcile, yes he tried his best to cope and move on in life, and sure he was happy…but deep down he truly missed Jake and wanted to be with him once again……
Jake:
Now I will mention that Jake's section of this blog won't be as long as Finn's. Not because Jake doesn't have character development, but because Finn has a LOT to talk about. Now Jake started off as a cool and laid back older brother figure to Finn, always giving him advice and wisdom in order to help him in life. Although Jake, despite aging faster than Finn, always felt that he was too immature for his own good. Everyone was changing for the better, developing on their own, becoming independent people that would make better choices and learn from their mistakes. What has Jake been doing? Goofing off, being lazy, being childish and just falling behind everyone else.
Everyone was growing up, Jake has just stayed the same. But as Finn told him, You can't judge yourself based on what others think and do. Some people are glad that you haven't changed too much, because some people think you're awesome and love you just the way you are. Sometimes people appreciate you for being you, not for being anything else, but for being the best you ever. Truth is Jake has already gone through growth, just way earlier in his life. Remember, Jake was a criminal, but he learned that he had to do better and be better..for his family and himself. Besides, who would wanna change anything about a chill Shapeshifting dog who loves Sandwiches huh?..
Jake became a loving boyfriend, a loving husband, and a loving father. All Jake wanted was to find ways to become closer with his kids, protect his kids, and be the best (coolest) dad for them. Sure they may age so fast that they become older than him in only months, but he enjoys the time he spends with his kids regardless of how much older they are than he is. Stuff like this was key when it came to Jake learning to accept himself for what he is. This especially happened when he discovered his true heritage and that he was the son of a frickin’ alien.
Sure his appearance and what he became really freaked him out, sure he believed that he wouldn't be the same and that he was completely different now; but he accepted what he was, he accepted his role and that he was still the same old Jake…and maybe that's ok..all in all Jake loved watching everything happen, he loved watching his friends grow, he loved watching his kids grow, and he loved watching Finn grow into someone he was proud of…and he would be proud of that until the day he died…
How Finn and Jake are Together Again
“Finn and Jake are Together Again."
Finn and Jake…..are dead.
Looks like death finally caught up to ol' Finn, and I really mean OLD Finn…as you can always expect, he died from old age while trying to save a bunch of people, honestly quite a fitting end to his life..after all he did say he always thought he would go out saving someone. But death was the last thing on Finn's mind, the first thing he could think about was the fact he could finally see Jake again! Now Finn was trying to find Jake in the 37th dead world, because he and Jake always planned to die together and be reincarnated together. Unfortunately that would have to wait, because there was a new death in charge of everything..and he was a total jerk.
You see, New Death had some new things planned, he wanted to control the afterlife the way he wanted to. He wanted to destroy every dead world and then stop reincarnation as a whole, which was obviously a big deal. In order to stop this dude, Finn needed Jake more than ever. So Finn stole a transporter from his old enemy Tiffany, and looked through every dead world in order to find him. He found himself meeting many old friends, finding many really weird Dead Worlds, and even meeting with his parents again! And Jermaine….then some of New Deaths jerk henchmen blew up this dead world, and Finn was once again left all alone.
That was until he saw a portal, a golden glowing portal, it was Jake…who came from the 50th dead world to scope out what was happening. Although, Jake was a lot less excited to see Finn than Finn was, I mean he has been in a state of Nirvana and peace for many many years, it only makes sense. However, once some Undertakers would come and beat up Finn, Jake got a taste of adventure once again and beat up the undertakers.
The moment was ruined by New Death when he found his way to the 50th dead world and destroyed it…Finn and Jake only had one more way to defeat New Death once and for all, they would contact Peppermint Butler so he could help them contact Life herself. Finn and Jakes spirits would be transported into Life's domain, and they would tell Life about New Deaths plan to cut off reincarnation, she was pisssssssed..(get it cuz she's a snake!) Life decided to give Finn and Jake a weapon, the kiss of Life, it would help them defeat New Death once and for all.
Finn and Jake would end up in New Death's Domain once again, and they would kick his butt with their new weapon, I mean REALLY kick his butt. But this wasn't working, it wasn't killing New Death….it was then revealed that New Death wasn't doing this all by himself, he was influenced by another being…a deadlier being…he was influenced by the Lich. New Death reveals that if they kill New Death, whoever killed him would become the New New Death. Finn and Jake had a choice to make, they would fight over who would sacrifice themselves to become Death in order to save everyone, thankfully neither happened thanks to Mr Fox using the Kiss of Life by the right end, killing New Death and becoming Death himself. Soon, everything was restored, all the Dead Worlds were back, reincarnation was restored, and everything was peaceful again…
Now that reincarnation was back and ready, Finn was ready himself to go back and live a new life, although he'd have to say goodbye to Jake once again. Finn would tell Jake that he was really upset about him dying so soon, and that it really messed him up…but he knew that what Jake really wanted was to be in the 50th dead world, so Finn accepted this and would wish Jake the best and happiest afterlife…and as Jake told him to live his best life, Finn jumped in the reincarnation portal and readied for a new life ahead…
But then Jake changed his mind, he didn't wanna go back to the 50th, he wanted to go back with his bro…so Jake would run to the reincarnation portal and join Finn. Finn was surprised for sure, but as Jake wanted to give one last fist bump before their new life together began, Finn gave in and had one last fist bump…and so Finn and Jake were together again, and would live a whole new life full of Adventure…
Now don't be sad that Finn and Jakes adventures have ended, if anything they have many more adventures to come…everything comes to an end eventually but maybe it's not such a bad thing. Sure today's done, but we'll always have memories of this, memories of all of this. Who we were, how it felt, that's part of us now. But things have to end or else we'd get stuck, we'd never grow. So many characters throughout this adventure have shown that while there were many issues during life, it made them better people. When one adventure ends, a new one begins, that'll never change…
So while it may seem like it, there will always be a time for fun, time for friends, time for growth..
It'll always be…Adventure Time..
Mordecai and Rigby
Background
Mordecai
“So baby let's just party toni-ight”
Dude, sometimes whenever you think about humble beginnings, you think about guys like Alexander Hamilton, Pablo Picasso, the guy who made cheese puffs. But perhaps not all beginnings must be humble, perhaps even the biggest of losers can come out…I guess somewhat less of a loser. Mordecai was but a young teenager who wanted more out of his life, he usually spent his time hanging out with his best bud since childhood Rigby. They spent their time playing video games, eating pizza, and doing life threatening food challenges constantly. But Mordecai was a little more straightforward than his best bro. Mordecai grew up in a fairly normal household with his parents…let's just say his mom was a little weird whenever he brought girls over, and let's just say this might've affected his confidence. Actually a lot of things affected his confidence, embarrassing moments, failed attempts, and especially his luck with girls. Thankfully, his best bro Rigby was always there by his side to humiliate and embarrass him even more. But gaming, pizza and skateboards wasn't everything Mordecai wanted, he wanted a good future, and he did a lot to try and secure that…
Mordecai tried many times to get good academics but it mostly backfired, he would even start playing the saxophone just to get extra credits. But Mordecai tried hard, and before he knew it, he wanted to attend a good college. In order to help himself and Rigby attend a good college, he had to help Rigby pass his science class with a good project. Thankfully both of their future selves came to the rescue, and they would help Rigby make the coolest project ever. Mordecai was really confident in everything, and he was really excited to see him and his bro attend college together. Mordecai found his envelope with his acceptance letter, thankfully Rigby got in! Unfortunately, as he was reading the letter, he realized that he didn't get into his dream school. Clearly upset and destroyed, Mordecai decided to find their teacher's time machine in order to try and activate it so they could go back in time and get accepted. Unfortunately this caused the time machine to be destroyed and create a large explosion that wrecked up a piece of the school. Thanks to that, their teacher would get arrested, and Mordecai and Rigby would be kicked out of the school. Mordecai and Rigby would attend a different school in order to finish high school, Mordecai graduated although Rigby would become a high school dropout. Still wanting a good future, Mordecai attended an art school in order to become a better artist, he even let Rigby live with him in an on-campus dormitory. But after showing his artwork to a girl, and it caused her to scream and cry, Mordecai lost all of his confidence in art, and dropped out. So with no real options left, Mordecai would apply for a landscaping job for a park, and he would also write Rigby down for the application. And so Mordecai and Rigby would start their new jobs, living in a new room, and hopefully not trying to start a mess…what could possibly go wrong!
Rigby ️
“Hamboningg!!"
Hmph hmph hmph hmph, we know you want a totally cool and rad character to show up on your blog screens, that's why we got a dude so cool he didn't even need to graduate to be cool! Rigby grew up in a fairly..toxic household. His Father was a jerk who always thought Rigby was a disappointment, always had no faith or belief in him and generally just acted very condescending to him. Even his mother had no faith in his success, and basically let his dad belittle him constantly. All his parents ever did was praise his brother Ron, saying he was perfect, he was academically gifted, he was far more talented and had a better chance in life than Rigby. That favoritism and behavior towards him and his brother really caused a deep hatred for Ron, but that's besides the point. Rigby’s childhood sucked, but thankfully he had his best pal Mordecai by his side. During their teenage highschool years, he and Mordecai would spend most of their time playing videogames, eating pizza, and just goofing off all the time. Rigby was, basically academically flawed, he barely passed his classes, he never took anything seriously, and he was completely lame. What's worse is that Jim and Mordecai were constantly bullied by the volleyball group, especially Joblonski. Rigby believed that school was useless, he believed everyone was wasting their time with education and that he would be free, and do cool things while everyone slaved away. This unfortunately made his high school life worse…
Despite hating school, Rigby only really enjoyed hanging out with Mordecai, so he wanted to be accepted into a college so he and Mordecai would be in college together. All Rigby had to do to pass was finish a science project in order to prove he was smart enough, thankfully he and Mordecai’s future selves would come in and help them get a good grade. Rigby was ecstatic about their help, and he really believed that he would be accepted, but unfortunately..life doesn't always go as planned. Rigby found that he was rejected, in fact he had the worst rejection letter possible, what made it worse is that his parents knew he would fail and wanted him to join a college in Mexico. Rigby was broken by this, he wouldn't be able to go to college with Mordecai, but he had an idea..a terrible idea. Rigby would steal Mordecai's acceptance letter, and he would forge a rejection letter so neither of them would go to college. Mordecai would find the letter, Rigby would pretend that he was accepted, then once Mordecai found out he was “rejected” Rigby would tear his letter up saying that he wouldn't go to college if Mordecai couldn't. But Mordecai had a plan, he decided to find their teacher's time machine in order to try and activate it so they could go back in time and get accepted. Unfortunately this caused the time machine to be destroyed and create a large explosion that wrecked up a piece of the school. Thanks to that, their teacher would get arrested, and Rigby along with Mordecai would be kicked out of the school. Both would end up attending a different school in order to finish their education, Mordecai graduated although Rigby would become a high school dropout. Eventually Mordecai would go to art school and Rigby would crash in his dorm room, but after losing confidence in his art career, Mordecai would also drop out. With no other option left, Mordecai would apply them both to a Landscaping job at a part, because Rigby was too lazy to fill out an application. And so their new jobs would start, and so would a new portion of their lives, will Rigby mess this up too? Will Mordecai figure out what Rigby did? Well time could only tell, and hopefully their jobs at the park won't lead to anything too crazy…..
Character Development
“If you didn't do what you did maybe things would've been different, but I'd take working a lame job at a park with my best friend any day.”
“I'm surrounded by impressive people, people who lifted me up, and showed me it was possible to do great..hard things…”
It may sound surprising to hear a show like this has some great development and life lessons, well all things in life are surprises to be sure, but they are all welcome nonetheless..
Mordecai:
Whenever he and Rigby started working at their job, Mordecai would fall in love with the waitress at their favorite coffee place, her name was Margaret. Mordecai would become absolutely infatuated with her, and he wanted to do anything he could do to be with her. He tried his best to ask her out, gain confidence and do everything he could to become closer to him. TLDR'... Mordecai was simpin’ hard. He was way too unconfident and had too much self doubt to truly ask her out, this caused Rigby to try and trigger him and make better success with Margaret than Mordecai ever could. Unfortunately, Mordecai took this too personally and it escalated to Mordecai accidentally killing his best friend.
He definitely regretted this, and he would try and get a second chance. Mordecai needed to let go of his emotions, let go of his jealousy, and just be more confident. Of course he would go through so many more opportunities and mess them up. Mordecai has fucked up his many chances to get with Margaret, he would become depressed because he thought he would never get with her, he would make so many stupid decisions because he frankly had no idea what to do.
Mordecai would slowly but surely gain some sort of confidence, he would learn to act on his feelings and he would finally make a move on Margaret. Things were going very well for them, that was until he tried asking her to be his girlfriend, and she rejected him because she got accepted into her dream college. Mordecai would go into a very deep depression, he would lose any confidence in everything else, but thanks to the support of his friends..and help from Rigby…Mordecai would learn to move on from Margaret and accept that it's over.
Things changed when Mordecai met a girl named CJ, sure he wanted to be friends at first, but truly he did like her. Sure he thought she was amazing, but was it really ok to start dating if he still missed Margaret? Wanted to wait for Margaret? Mordecai would just have to accept that he needed to move on to the next part of his life, he would stop pulling a Mordecai, and he would start dating CJ. Things were going great, she genuinely fit him almost perfectly, and he would prove to her constantly that he loves her. But the drama would continue once Margaret came back to town and just expected Mordecai to be waiting for her this whole time. She would practically make Mordecai remember what they went through and she would push him into a tough corner.
This made things between Margaret and CJ much more awkward, he wanted to fix everything but the truth was that he had no real control over everything that was going on, he was confused. He still wanted to prove his love to CJ, but Margaret being around, making things awkward, and even lying about having a boyfriend AFTER the purpose of it would've been null and void. Mordecai would even find out that Margaret still had feelings for him and purposely tried hanging out with Mordecai even though she didn't have to since she didn't keep any contact with him while in college. Yeah this obviously made Mordecai even more confused, he didn't know what to do, he was even confused about his feelings, and things were just going awful around him.
The best thing he could do was end things with CJ, move on and just heal himself from everything that was happening. CJ was perfect for him, but she came into his life at the worst time, and Mordecai justifiably needed time to heal from his relationship issues and all the drama going on. Problem is….as you all guessed…the execution was absolutely terrible…..
This was Mordecai's infamously worst moment of his character as what he did was incredibly pathetic, stupid and just the worst timing possible. CJ would end up breaking up with him…and that would be the last time we see her in his life..
Mordecai would try his best to be ignorant about what happened, he didn't wanna face what he did and he just wanted to forget about it…but as he would learn during his stay at Dumptown USA, he would have to just take a break from relationships and learn to take it easy, and work on himself. Though later on he would come to truly regret what he's done, he saw himself as the bad guy, a bad person who did something terrible to someone who didn't deserve it.
Mordecai truly hated everything he did, and he felt that CJ didn't deserve everything that happened and that he's a terrible person for letting it happen. But as he would come to learn, he wasn't a bad person, he's a normal person who's had to go through lots of drama and problems when he wasn't ready for it. Mordecai just had to accept that what was done has been done, he accepted that he once again had to move on in life and just focus on the future…and let's just say that really helped him out when he was finally ready for something big…
Now as for his relationship with Rigby, yeahh it has been rocky. Even though Rigby is his best friend, at first Mordecai constantly made fun of his insecurities and only tried to make Rigby feel worse about himself. Sure he's usually joking around and he does care about Rigby, but he really didn't help when Rigby was going through some rough stuff. Mordecai was practically use Rigby to help him with so much stuff in his life, moving on from Margaret, dating CJ, Rigby was there for him a lot while Mordecai only saw Rigby as his “friend." Yes that sounds like a good thing, but in this context Mordecai didn't believe Rigby should attempt to change and be better, because “our dynamic wouldn't work if we're both smart, I'm the smart one, and you're my friend."
Mordecai even seemed to be jealous over the fact Rigby was getting closer with Eileen and hanging out with her more, he would have to just let Rigby do stuff on his own and he has to believe in Rigby. Things were especially rocky when Mordecai found out Rigby forged his graduation letter, he was very reasonably angry at Rigby. Yes, Rigby was very wrong for doing this to him, but Mordecai wouldn't change a thing about what he has right now. He would take working at a lame park everyday and hang out with his best friend more than anything, he was perfectly fine with his placement in life.
When Rigby wanted to graduate high school, yes Mordecai supported him and wanted him to do his best. Although once Rigby was close to graduating, Mordecai would become aggravated towards Rigby and didn't want to do anything for him. Although he'd reveal that it's hard to see Rigby doing so great, and that he always liked when he was doing better.
But he knew this was messed up to think, Mordecai was very proud of Rigby…he was happy Rigby truly improved himself and would achieve something he didn't think he could achieve..it's a very constant thing for Mordecai's character. He would learn to just accept things for what they are, sure Rigby was having a better life than him, but he had lots of good things, he just had to accept not anything will go great and that he just has to move on in life…then he would heal and truly learn how to just love himself..
Rigby:
Out of any Regular Show character, Rigby truly went through the most change and development than anyone. At first, Rigby was a very selfish jerk who practically disregarded everyone's feelings but his own. He tried being a good friend to Mordecai but he only made things worse because he didn't want to admit he was wrong, he didn't want to be wrong. He barely got along with anyone at the park, he practically shit on Muscle Man and Fives every chance he and Mordecai could get, he basically used Skips for jobs they fucked up and would rather let him die than give away fucking cake, and he just thought Pops was really weird.
Yeah he was a very terrible person, but he knew that he was a terrible person. Throughout his time at the park, Rigby wanted to always prove himself, he always wanted to prove he wasn't just a lazy disappointment that could do more than he seems. He wanted to show people that he was capable, and that he could do anything if he put his mind to it. Rigby just never took anything seriously, this caused his role as a worker to be constantly threatened because he always screwed up. Of course he never got fired, why? Because truthfully he always tried his best to keep what he has, he always went above and beyond to prove his worth..
Rigby never got along with Benson, Benson was a strict workaholic and Rigby was a lazy slacker. While Benson would always give him and Mordecai the benefit of the doubt, he ended up starting to get sick of what they constantly get up to. He started being more strict with them, being less lenient with them, and threatened to fire them a lot more, especially Rigby. They barely got along with each other because of how different they were, how different they think, and just the fact they don't see eye to eye with each other.
This would change when both of them were threatened with job loss, and they would have to figure out which one of them should be fired. This actually caused them to bond a lot, they talked about lots of things they experienced and experiences they shared. They truly began to understand each other, and they learned more about each other. Rigby reveals that his dad always compares him with his brother Don, that Don has a better life, is a better person, is less of a disappointment, and is better than him in every way. His dad did nothing but compare them, and made it seem like he favored Don over Rigby. This would cause Rigby to become insecure about himself, and it's why the way he is.
This interaction is probably what helped Rigby connect and understand people a lot more than before. He would understand why Muscle Man pranks and tells jokes because it's what his dad taught him, and he would understand that Pops is a nice man who would do a lot for them and he would understand that Bensons job is basically his life.
His life especially changed when he met Eileen, at first he thought she was a little weird and boring but as the show went on, he would develop a crush on her. She helped him with problems that felt unsolvable to him, she helped him discover his identity, and she helped him achieve things that felt unachievable. Eileen wanted to always be there for Rigby, she wanted to support and help him despite his mistakes and screw ups. She wanted to stay with him because she sees the good parts of him, this is why Rigby truly liked her, because she's someone who likes him despite his flaws and wants to help him.
He would learn so much about her, and he would want to support her too. Soon enough, they would start dating, and Rigby was better than ever. Sure he may have made a lot of dumb decisions and acted like a moron, but she stuck with him regardless, and he chose to try and redeem himself because of that. Eileen helped Rigby change in a good way, and he became a better person because of her.
But this all changed for Rigby when she revealed the Eileen plan, when she was in school she wanted to marry a genius, marry someone who was smart and genuine. This made Rigby want to prove himself, he decided to do something he never thought he would do…he would go back to highschool…
Rigby wanted to graduate high school for many reasons, he wanted to prove himself to Eileen that he was brilliant, he wanted to make his dad proud and prove he wasn't a screw up, and he genuinely didn't want to be a lazy bum in life. But he would realize that he didn't want to do all this to impress anyone, but because he's surrounded by people who helped him become better. He tried his best to do what he never thought he would do, he would become a more accomplished person, because he wanted to do these for himself.
He always wanted to be better, he wanted to be better for Mordecai especially. He knew that he would constantly ruin everything for Mordecai, he knew he was holding him back and that Mordecai needed real support, but he always tried. Rigby always tried his best to give Mordecai good advice, he tried his best to do things for him, and he tried his best to redeem himself after lying about his rejection letter.
Rigby would end up apologizing, not just for what he did, but for everything he's done, this was a major step in change and he would be a better person for Mordecai as well. Rigby would prove himself to everyone, and especially himself, and he would start his journey towards graduation and journey..
Rigby would work hard, he would try hard, and he would try his absolute best to pass his classes. He would travel inside a cave and save Eileen for his Geology class, he would travel all the way across China to join an English class for his Foreign Language class, and would compete against his gym teacher in a food run for his Gym class. Rigby did a lot and tried hard to accomplish his goals, he tried his absolute best to finish all his classes and he did exactly that, he was so close to graduation and he was excited.
The day he would graduate, it turned out that he would have to make a big speech in front of live television because his story is inspiring enough to televise. This really made Rigby nervous, he didn't think he could do it, and he had way too many doubts. What's worse is that Mordecai wasn't helping him, he was only ignoring him and being aggravated towards him. So Rigby was effectively alone, he didn't know what to do, and he thought he would screw it all up. Then it was time to make the big speech, he already didn't know what to say, he ran off afraid. But then, Mordecai would show up and reveal why he was being such a jerk.
He revealed that he was jealous of the fact Rigby was improving while he stayed the same, obviously Rigby was mad but Mordecai showed that he was proud of Rigby, he was proud of his growth, and this would be the thing to finally give him confidence. Rigby gave the best speech of his life, and he proved his change and growth in front of EVERYONE. He proved himself to Mordecai, his family, his girlfriend, his friend, and to himself. Rigby proved that anyone can achieve anything if they try hard enough, they don't have to change everything about themselves, but they could achieve so much if they put their mind to it and worked for it.
Sure you may fear that achieving something so big will mean life will only get harder, but once you get past the hard stuff, it becomes not that hard. Sure Rigby isn't the man he used to be, the lazy underachiever who was a selfish jerk, but even now he could still do the fun stuff while also being a better person. Rigby has come a very long way, but he still gets to be himself but better. Rigby's success proved that anyone could do great things in life, even if you think you can't do anything, as long as you believe in yourself and work hard for change, then you can do anything…
How a Jolly Good story ended
“I promise that this is a happy ending, take care of each other….goodbye..”
Well things have gone to crap haven't they. Mordecai and Rigby aren't facing any normal enemy, they're facing the destruction of their entire universe. They're facing the end of oblivion, well technically they're flying into it…how did this all happen? Well that's one hell of a story, and I'll tell you!
The Graduation party was about to start, but the workers were given orders by the scientists that have kept them inside a glass dome for months. They were ordered to press the button that would finally end the dome experiment, but things would soon change once they actually pressed it. The entire dome and park along with it would fly into the air, and it reached the vacuum of space. Everyone would reasonably panic and freak out, but they would have to work together in order to survive. They would have to get enough food, try and find a cell phone signal from a satellite, and face robots trying to steal their resources until they were rescued by space explorers. The park crew was recruited as space cadets in order to complete missions and venture through the vast cosmos of space.
They would stay at the Space Tree for a couple of years and go through tons of training in order to fulfill their purpose. They would become space racers for the space bush, learn safety and how to properly handle space equipment, help pull off the biggest prank in the galaxy, binge watch a new show just to get the finale spoiled, got rocket shoes from fighting an alien monster plant while probably breaking all of their bones, went to a mantis planet to get a wallet and also escape alien marriage, and they would go to a super cool space rock concert.
Yes, space was really cool, but Mordecai and Rigby would very much miss earth. I mean the space tree didn't have as much earth stuff as they would want, they were far away from home and didn't know if they'll ever go back, they were basically stuck in a place that they had no idea about and were just waiting for their inevitable escape into an internal abyss…..but then they'd say space and cool and just forget about all of that. After everything they accomplished, it was finally time to graduate from the space academy and become true cadets for the space tree. Things were going great until something insane happened, a dark entity that looked like pops showed up and would cause massive havoc. The commander of the space tree revealed that he was an evil entity wanting to destroy everything, the worst thing about this was the fact it was after Pops of all people. The Park Gang would have to escape into the park dome back into space to escape the evil force trying to kill their friend….
The entire park gang would be on the run, trying to escape from a cosmic while trying to achieve their new mission, finding out Pop's role in all of this and how to protect him. They would go through a lot in order to protect pios and in order to stop whatever cosmic force is trying to destroy everything. They would travel through time vortexes, buy beds while surviving a space bounty hunter, go through many trials and find out Pop's story. Turns out he's the current incarnation of good in the universe, and the evil entity Anti Pops is his brother and the current incarnation of evil in the universe. They would learn that he's the key to bringing balance to the universe, and that he would save everyone from Anti Pop's destruction.
Their journey started by helping Pops being trained by a wise mentor who would reveal that their universe has gotten reset many times before, and that Pops must fight his brother or else everyone will die. Of course Pops did not want to fight his brother, and he tried making peace with him, but it was obvious there was nothing else he could do. They would travel to planet Nielson to get information about how to get to Pop's home planet, and they would learn that their lives are basically a show for someone else to enjoy and that they'd have to prepare for everything to end. Pops was clearly not prepared to have the world, the universe, and his friends' fate rest on his shoulders. Mordecai and Rigby decided that they wanted to cheer pops up, show him a good time, and make a time capsule in order to show pops that no matter what happens, part of them will be alive in the universe. Pops was calmed down, he was ready for the final battle, the fate of the universe was upon us…
The time was upon us, Pops and Anti Pops were on the battlefield, things were getting tense, until Anti Pops fell for the trap Mordecai and Rigby planned against him…. although he'd survive pretty easily. Anti Pops made a bet, if Pops knocked him down then he'd surrender the universe……..yeah he obviously didn't keep his promise once he was knocked down pretty quickly. An all out battle started, Anti Pop's forces battled the park gang, Streaming and his Internet bots arrived to attack, but many of the park allies also arrived in order to help. Death, Gary and the babies, Carter and Briggs, Party Horse, the Baby Ducks and the space explorers, they would all help our gang in the final battle.
Unfortunately this extra help would prove to be helpless, Anti Pops would use his powers to erase all of their friends and it would leave Pops far more enraged. They would charge at each other, the end of the universe would come in just one hit, so Mordecai and Rigby flew between the punch and stopped the reset from happening. Mordecai and Rigby would be reset back to the first episode of the show, they would get their memories back and they'd return back to the end with the Power. Anti Pop's was still causing destruction, he was still wreaking havoc and things were getting worse, Pops realized what he truly had to do.
Pops would say his goodbyes to Mordecai and Rigby, fly to his brother, and give him the biggest loving hug. It would make him shrink in size, Mordecai and Rigby realized what Pops was doing, and Pops would assure them that this was a happy ending. Suddenly, Pops would fly into the sun while hugging his brother, and the universe would reset, and all the damage caused could be undone. The park crew would return back home and say hello to their loved ones once again, unfortunately the same could not be said for Pops. They would create a memorial for their friends, an innocent man who spread kindness and love throughout the world, his love was so great it saved the entire universe.
But as all things in life do, everyone moved on, everyone grew up. Mordecai and Rigby left their jobs at the park, and they lived a great life. Mordecai finally took time to himself, he practiced his art, became an esteemed artist and even sold his art to Museums. Mordecai grew from what he once was, he gained confidence in himself and learned how to heal, this even helped him get married and have children. Sure he didn't end up with who everyone thought, but the truth is that they weren't right for him, he took time for himself and finally found someone right for him while achieving his dream career. As for Rigby? He became a respectable husband, father, and person. Rigby was still able to do fun stuff like play video games, but he was still responsible, he was still a greater person. 25 years passed, Mordecai and Rigby grew from the people we knew but still were the same in some ways..
Everyone grows up eventually, everyone moves on from certain things in life, sometimes it may seem worrying about what the future could hold.. sometimes you may be afraid of what your life will be like. But the winds of change can be a good thing, things may not stay the same but, if everything stays the same then how could you yearn for growth. Yes you could always cherish the memories of the past, but you could also embrace new beginnings, and just accept life's transitions. Life won't always be regular, sometimes the craziest things will happen and you won't be ready for it, but as long as you work forward and keep going..then you'll fix any problem with the support of people around you. Nonetheless, even if Mordecai and Rigby have grown up…their lives..our lives, will always be a good show..a jolly good show..
Skill and Experience
Finn and Jake
Adventuring is a hard task bro, sometimes most people can't even handle days of training and hard work. Thankfully, Finn and Jake have yearned from Adventure ever since childhood, and let's just say they're picked up a few things from their experiences. Now Finn may not be the smartest guy ever, he doesn't even know basic math. But, he is a genius on the battlefield..
Finn can constantly come up with tactics and battle plans in order to defeat a monster or solve a certain problem. He's figured out many mysteries and problems throughout his life (unless they're from Jake) and he's been known to make a plan at the whim. Even without training, Finn has studied multiple forms of Martial art and disarming techniques such as “Chokey Brokey Style." Finn is incredibly acrobatic and knows how to use his fists against smaller or bigger enemies like giants. Finn can fight hordes of Gladiators alone, can adapt to any weapon he uses, and he's even excelled in his swordsmanship skills.
Only problem with this is that he's incredibly stubborn, but he can fight for hours on end, stayed up for 29 days and spent hours in an endless dungeon train without even getting tired.
Yeah don't think you can overwhelm this man, he's endured through many years of mental and physical pain.
Despite being very lazy, laid back, sometimes choosing not to try and do any effort, sometimes getting side tracked even, sometimes forgetting what he was supposed to do..ok yeah Jake SEEMS like he's helpless in battle don't let that fool you. Like Finn, Jake has also been in battle for many many years and is the physical superior to Finn in many ways. He's fought monsters, aliens, demons, and ugly witches. Jake of course being a dog has a great sense of smell and can sniff out anything from a far radius. Even though his wisdom and advice is inconsistent, he's still always willing to teach Finn certain lessons of life. He's been shown to outsmart opponents like Finn has before, such as tricking his dad into giving away all his power and energy into Jake, making him much weaker than before.
Finn and Jake are already strong and resilient separately, but together? Almost nothing can stop them. They fight as a team almost every single day, Finn promised Jake that they would fight and Adventure together for the rest of their life. They've defeated hordes of monsters, banished demons, defeated the eater of worlds Orgalorg, and even defeated New Death who would plunge every deadworld into dust. They've defeated many magical powerhouses such as the Lich, Ice King, Marceline and Warren. They once saved an entire apocalyptic future from being destroyed by evil Finn and Jake robots, and they stopped the Lich from sucking up the entire planet by creating their own army and tearing a hole in his magic bag. They've legit became super soldiers for Bubblegum, and an alternate future had Finn lead entire wars for the Candy Kingdom.
Like I said before, Finn and Jake have been adventuring for many many years. They've served the mushroom kingdom ever since Finn was 13, all the way up until his 30s. Although Jake had died years before that, due to his ability to age faster, he at least lived until Finn was in his 20s. Finn has had a ton of experience fighting baddies, this guy would keep adventuring and saving people up until his fucking 90s. Even AFTER death Finn and Jake would defeat New Death and live a whole new life full of adventure once again..
Mordecai and Rigby
Mordecai and Rigby are not new to having to do hard work and jobs all day long for multiple days straight. They rake leaves, deal with animals, mow the lawn, construct, and of course help handle parties and events. But working at the Park has helped them learn some other skills. It should be noted that while Rigby is awful at videogames (he's considered the 2nd worst gamer in the universe lmao) Mordecai is very exceptional at gaming; he knows multiple combos, can win multiple games, and was even going to win a gaming tournament along with Skips. He's not the smartest guy but he's able to come up with plans that could help them in combat, he was even able to outsmart an extremely smart brain that would constantly grow in knowledge and strategy. Mordecai throughout the years has been in combat with lots of enemies, and he definitely knows a thing or 2 about fighting bigger enemies of even armies thanks to Exit 9B. Not to mention the fact he's the one who came up with a game plan to stop anti pops (it didn't work but it still bought some time)
Rigby on the other hand has definitely grown from his old ways. At first he was absolutely stupid and put no thought into anything. But eventually, he would learn how to be more reasonable and come up with plans to get out of certain situations. Let's just say that high school education really helped him in future scenarios since he's definitely a lot more knowledgeable on his skills now. Speaking of which, he's generally a very good backup and will jump off Mordecai's main gimmicks in order to overwhelm an opponent. While he's still immature, he knows how to make a game plan and knows his ways around enemies, even while fighting things way bigger than him.
And of course as y'all know, both Mordecai and Rigby were able to master the many Death Kwon Do techniques. This allows them to become absolute masters of martial arts and combat. But even without this, there's a certain misconception that Mordecai and Rigby can't work well together in a team. Well that statement is completely wrong, they only fall apart when it comes to certain conflicts or situations. Otherwise, they're great at working as a team and fighting multiple enemies together. They're almost synchronized in combat, and know where and when to attack when the moment is right. They're been in professional wrestling, played professional dodgeball, bowling, been in rock bands, and have been professionally trained space soldiers for many years. They've gone back in time to save the entire park, they stopped Ross from destroying all of time by changing the time crystals properties, and they’ve fought fighters with decades of experience in combat. Yeah they're obviously really good at working in a team and have a ton of combat experience.
Speaking of experience, it should be noted that the duo have been doing hard labor and work for about 10 years at the park, spent 3 years in Space Soldier training, and were trained in professional combat sports in the far future. Even 25 years later they went on more crazy adventures and had to relive their youth. Hell, they re-lived another 25 years participating in a massive war that they would rebel and fight in. Yeah they have a LOT of experience, so much so they knew each since they were toddlers and have had many crazy experiences with each other since then…

Finn ️
Swords
Finn is an adventurer through and through, he's ready for any quest of bad dude he's gotta beat up. But in order to kick the baddies butt, Finn always comes with a sword! But Finn has had many swords throughout the years, so let us discuss what kinda swords he has had..
- Scarlet Sword - Finn's original sword, this good ol’ sword is great when it comes to fighting people one on one. It's durable, extra sharp, and it can pack a punch. This would only be the first sword Finn has lost however.
- Tree Root Sword - it's a sword made out of a tree root, it's basic but still a pretty cool weapon.
- Demon Blood Sword - Originally belonging to their dad who passed it down to Finn, the demon blood sword is made out of…actual demon blood! This sword is fire resistant and can inflict great damage upon your enemy, handle it with care though..
- Sword of Lighteousness - Finn received this cool sword after finding a page of the Enchiridion inside the belly of the Beast in the evil forest. This sword is very powerful in “Pirates of the Enchiridion" and has very unique attributes.
- Golden Chop - Deal righteousness damage to an enemy (Cost = 5)
- Sunset Swipe - Deal big righteousness damage to an enemy (Cost = 8)
- Supernova Slice - Deal big righteousness damage to two enemies (Cost = 10)
- Grass Sword - This natural sword is cursed with a very mysterious autonomy. The Grass Sword is able to manipulate those who wield it, and it can help you in battle greatly. This sword can bind with users to create large grass attacks, change the grass’ shape, and make the user much stronger than before.
- Finn Sword - As a “Plan B”, Finn makes a choice to save Prismo by creating a paradox that vaporizes his dream world duplicate. Instead of turning to dust, Finn's body turns into a sword, dubbed the Finn Sword by Prismo. It is known that there is a little Finn living inside the sword, which, after being pierced by the grass sword, can render Finn unconscious for an indefinite time, giving him a subsequent depression.
- Small Sword - Look at this lil fella, he's so average sized! This sword may not look like much, but y'know what they say, “it's about how you use it"
- Night Sword - This cool sword was made by Peppermint Butler after his last sword was destroyed, this always happens. This sword is pretty special, its power was gifted by Hunson Abadeer. It's capable of harming ghosts, and with sophisticated magic, can negate the powers of powerful beings. This sword also comes with sweet abilities in “Pirates of the Enchiridion"
- Level 1 - Moon Womp - Deal jinx damage to an enemy ( Chance to make an enemy Sleepy!) (Cost = 4)
- Level 3 - Smash of Dark Darkness - Deal big jinx damage to an enemy (Chance to make an enemy Sleepy!) (Cost = 7)
- Level 6 - Sandman Storm - Deal big jinx damage to two enemies (Chance to make an enemy Sleepy!) (Cost = 9)
- Aromatherapy Sword - what's the big whoop? It's a basic pointy sword, it's seemingly normal. Well this sword has such a chill fragrance that it'll make your opponents chill out. They'll forget why they're even fighting you and back off.
- Sword of the Dead - This awesome looking sword of the dead was born to die, and lives to shield life from the deathless. ‘Nuff said..
- Lightning Sword - Now sure, this sword could be used normally. It can slice stuff, stab, poke etc. I mean yeah it's a sword, of course it can do sword stuff. But y'know, only a total glob would choose to not…idk…. SHOOT LIGHTNING AT STUFF??
- Ice Sword - In the Adventure Time game “Pirates of the Enchiridion" you get this sweet sword from the ice king, it comes with very special attributes of its own.
- Level 1 - Frosty Cut - Deal ice damage to an enemy (Chance to Freeze an enemy!) (Cost = 3 )
- Level 3 - Ice Slammacow - Deal big ice damage
- damage to an enemy ( Chance to Freeze an enemy!) (Cost = 6 )
- Level 5 - Frozen Storm - Deal big ice damage to two enemies (Chance to Freeze an enemy!) (Cost = 8)
Metal Arm
Finn has lost his arm before, so PB made something a little more usable and helpful in dangerous situations. The metal arm is not only powerful, but it has many alternative modes as shown above.
Radio-Phone
Basically like a normal cell phone as he can call whoever has his info like Peebs or Jake.
Peebs Holographic Communicator
Bonnie gave Finn this device that allows him to always communicate with her via hologram.
Trident
A cool lil’ weapon Finn got when fighting these gladiator dudes!
Double Daggers
These are also weapons Finn got when fighting ghost gladiators, they definitely pack a bigger slice and dice…
Cyclops Tears
I know what you're thinking, ew….
Well yes, that's exactly what it is, but it's also not that! These Cyclops tears can actually be used to heal any kind of damage done to your body! Broken legs? Scrapes? Loss of ribs? These Cyclops tears can patch you up instantly!
Guardian Sap
This stuff comes from the gross junk of the citadel guardians. Their junk properties can heal anything, including an entire leg being vaporized. (Ew…)
Glasses of Nerdicon
These magical glasses offer more than just better eyesight, they offer the power of knowledge. All knowledge is granted upon you, and you're much much smarter than before…but also more out of control.
4-D Sword
After his first sword was infused with 4 dimensional properties, he used it to stop a 4 dimensional black hole. This is probably his most powerful sword..
Billy's Gauntlet
This powerful gauntlet was originally owned by the legendary hero Billy. Even when worn by Finn, it's a very strong weapon. It can power up and shoot very deadly and powerful beams of light, and it can even vaporize people up close.
Bubblegum’s Sweater
Peebs made this sweater for Finn to show him that she cares about him. While yes it is a very comfy looking sweater, it was able to somehow save Finn from the Lich's power.. because he was covered by the power of “Liking someone alot.”
Flame Kingdom Armor
When Finn ventured to the wasteland Flame Kingdom, he got some neat Flame armor that allowed him to make a super cool flame sword.
Candy Arm
This was a VERY temporary arm PB made for Finn when he lost his arm, sure it's very strong and big but it makes most tasks harder…
Dead World Transporter
After stealing this device from Tiffany, he would be able to travel through all of the Dead Worlds. Only problem is that he doesn't really know where he can end up…

Hammer
Slammin’ stuff…Slammin' stuff…Slammin' stuff all day…
Nightosphere Amulet
This sweet amulet belonged to Hunson Abadeer, but whenever you wear it, you basically become him in his true form. Your mind gets filled with chaos and destruction, and you choose to be evil to the bone. You also get all of Hunson Abadeers cool powers…
Misc.
Just a bunch of random weapons and cool stuff from the Dungeon Train, he gets a bunch of cool armor, battle weapons and awesome artifacts like the flame crown you see above.
The Enchiridion
The Powerful, ancient book of heroes. The Enchiridion is known as the hero's handbook. This book is for those who truly wanna be a righteous hero, and can only be accessed by those with pure heart. This book has lots of great power, and lots of secrets within it, such as how to defeat witches, how to use a sword, how to fight monsters, how to kiss princesses…(sorry guys, I'm far from royalty..) Only those who are righteous can read it, and if you aren't righteous then the book itself will lock you out of its awesome knowledge. Not to mention, the Enchiridion as a being can read your mind, and change it's very own text and readings! And with the right resources, the Enchiridion can be used as a portal to the Central Time Room, and basically all Parallel Universes in the Multiverse. It can even effortlessly travel backwards and forwards in time. The Enchiridion is described to be a book with infinite pages and infinite words. The truth is that it's truly impossible to read the Enchiridion seeing as its material constantly changes, the Enchiridion is ever changing and by the time you go to the next page, the last has been completely changed.
It has also been stated that if the Enchiridion and the "Reader (who created the Enchiridion in a part reincarnation and is probably Marceline)” ceases to exist, then the entire Multiverse will disappear. Even on its own the Enchiridion could reset the entire Multiverse, making it swirl and swirl until it becomes something new again at the end of time. As described before it's power over time can stretch 38 seconds into hundreds or thousands of years, and can make time “a Layered Spectrum of Simultaneous Events.” Yes, the Enchiridion truly is a very powerful book….but the other powers it offers will be talked about later..

Flashlight Pens
These flashlight pens are more than just cool light sticks, they're able to combat nightmare shadow beings and full on destroy them..

Silly String
In the Candy Kingdom, “Silly String Theory" is a fundamental cosmic force. Thanks to that idea, the Silly String Finn would chew and blow into a bubble would actually create a new universe..a “Bubbleverse" if you will..
Nightmare Juice
This juice is nightmare fuel, LITERALLY! Once thrown, it can instantly knock you out and place you in the unconscious world. You're basically stuck inside a dream, the only drawback is that since time works differently inside the world; then you can wake yourself up and it'll look like you never went to sleep in the first place.
Porcelain Llama
Finn and Jake found this weird thing in a dungeon, the porcelain Llama is a gateway between the living realm and the Spirit Realm. If you touch this thing, your soul will stay in the spirit realm. You don't even become a ghost, nobody can see or hear you as the only things you can interact with are other spirits. The only way around this is if the Llama gets broken, or if some dude has wizard eyes and can see spirits.
The Hole
Jake found this very weird hole, and I mean VERY weird hole. If you look into it or enter either side, then it seems to transport you to a whole nother place.
The Maid
The Maid is a powerful weapon given to Finn and Jake by Prismo to get rid of Ice Finn, it is made to eliminate interdimensional problems with one shot, you must say “A man needs a maid” three times while aiming at the target.
It’s instructions are:
“The Maid will handle all Class A interdimensional Bung-ups if you follow these simple steps:
Direct the small end of the maid toward your massive mistake.
Focus your intention until all distractions leave your thought sphere.
Then recite the words "A man needs a maid" three times.
P.S. don't mess around and point the maid at your buddy, you goof.
You already screwed up once.”

Prismo’s Homemade Artisanal Pickles
As a gift, Prismo gave Finn and Jake a jar of his pickles, which can cause nightmares if eaten before bedtime, and eating them while Prismo is dead can cause a time paradox, however, the important thing is the jar, as by simply touching the “P”, Finn and Jake can travel to Prismo's room, and Prismo can use the jar to call Finn and Jake in case he needs help.
Computer Virus
When Finn and Jake were e-mailed a Computer Virus, it caused their entire world to glitch. It can glitch people out of existence, glitch reality up and it would spread across the planet and completely delete it.
Nightmare Battle Gear
In the nightosphere war, Finn and Jake had really cool war gear. Like armor, cool swords, iron gauntlets and a crazed war mentality.
Thought Cannon
This powerful wand can launch thoughts into reality. Just think about what you want and it'll instantly make it…but if you're thinking about a sandwich in the process it'll definitely make a sandwich..
Mom’s Note
Finn and Jake always get notes from their mom, this one is however, very special. It says “Hold Still” and applying it causes the opponent to…hold still!
Time Machine
PB made this really really cool time machine, however it doesn't work like a normal time machine. You see this one goes back in time to when the time machine was first invented no matter how far in the future you are. Paradoxes are no longer a problem thanks to Bubblegum, as it replaces their past self and makes it so time doesn't get wonky once you fuck something up in the future. Jake kept using the time machine over and over and over again in order to fix all his mistakes.
Kiss of Life
The kiss of Life is a staff made by life herself in order to defeat death and even kill him. This staff is known to be the only thing that can even hurt beings such as Death, and the only thing that could ever kill a being such as Death. Otherwise, Finn and Jake had no way of hurting him.
Primordial Ooze
This weird goo stuff was given to Finn and Jake by their dad, and it was very powerful in most hands. It basically erases you from existence, at least that's what we thought. Turns out this thing is Pure Spacetime, and if something touches it, it's wiped out from ALL existence. It would even destroy cosmic entities from other planes of reality and existence, destroying all remnants and essence of your existence everywhere all at once.
Mordecai
Microwaved Clocks
When Mordecai microwaves a bunch of clocks, it sends him and Rigby to a Dimension at the end of time. (Well Rigby didn't end up there…cuz he died.) If it wasn't for his apology and revelation, then he would've been stuck in this dimension for eternity. And luckily for him, he's the only one who remembers.
Super Cool Ring
This is a super cool ring that was given to Mordecai by the Blond Society after he would temporarily become a blond. Unfortunately it backfired on them and he would strike back with their own Ring. It can shoot a bunch of lasers, and even self-destruct to create a large explosion.
Death's Motorcycle
This is Death's Motorcycle, which has some pretty interesting abilities. Mordecai luckily learned how to ride a motorcycle pretty quickly, so he was able to handle it. The Motorcycle has a pretty neat ability of traveling between worlds, mostly between The Underworld and the normal world.
Suction Cup Tool
This tool can be used to go through a door when you can't unlock it. Unfortunately you gotta kick the suction cup…probably tastes horrible…
Cosmic Shades
These Shades are not only extremely stylish and cool, they serve an important purpose. They can shoot beams of light that are capable of fighting cosmic extraterrestrial beings. Such as beings devoid from Space and Time and affecting the spring equinox, the glasses are able to banish them to the world they came from.
Rigby ️
Trampy
For some reason Rigby didn't get a bed when they started living at the park. (Mordecai totally didn't just stack both mattresses and didn't tell Rigby his bed arrived.) So Rigby made due with a mini trampoline, it may hurt his back but at least it's his…
Play-Co Armboy
This neat device will make it so you will always win an arm wrestling contest, you will always be stronger than your opponent. We all know Skips is way stronger than Rigby, yet this made Rigby defeat Skips multiple times in a row. Even when Skips was about to lose to death, Play-Co Armboy made him win automatically. How does it do this?? I don't fucking know.

Eggscellent Hat
This awesome trucker hat is not only very Eggscellent, it was able to revive and wake Rigby up from his near death Coma. This hat ended up being what can keep Rigby alive (don't think that taking it off kills him, it just ensures he'll always be fine loll)
The Russian
Rigby needed to do one pull-up, he couldn't do it. So he decided to take the easy way into fitness and used the Russian. This makes him insanely buff and strong overnight, it's so strong he was able to destroy the ground and make a hole just by walking and doing a pull-up.
Wall Buddy
This device is able to separate your room when you don't want to have a roommate. It will move and transform to whatever you command, and it'll follow you as long as you don't ask too much at the same time. Wall Buddy can create spaces, transform so it could punch you, or shape around whatever you ask.
Stop Watch
This stop watch quite literally stops…oh..I mean slows down time.. missed opportunity ig. But yes, this watch was given to Rigby but his future self. As you can see, it has the ability to slow down time with just the press of a button, and it'll last a minute.
Fake Teeth
These fake teeth were used to get through a security gate. Yeah it probably feels terrible to have inside your mouth…

- Rocket Pack - this is basically a jetpack, it will keep you flying between enemies and help you flow through space.
- Time Machine - while Rigby has consistently used this device to travel through time, it can be used to stop time for surrounding enemies.
- Shield Generator - this device will automatically create a shield around you, it will block all enemies from getting past you.
Mordecai and Rigby
The Cart
The good ol reliable Cart has been through thick and thin. Even since their first day, the duo has been using this cart for many purposes. Whether it's for going on adventures, entering competitions, and even actually hanging out with the cart.
Pressure Washer

When saying this they can not only change your appearance, send you back in time to be trapped in the past, and even summon anything you conjure up. Not only does it send you back in time, it can send any object you target back in time.
Book of Park records
This book contains all the historical archives of the Park itself and logs down all the information about the workers. This book not only logs down every day, but every possible day. Whatever Mordecai and Rigby write down in this book, it will automatically come true. You could write down anything you want to happen right now, or write down what you want to happen later in the line. No matter what happens, nature and fate itself will bend to do whatever the book foretells. And it's not like wishing or anything, the book makes it so events will happen in complicated ways so that the outcome will happen no matter what.
Planet Chasers Starlight Excellent

Benson’s House Rules
Benson decided to set some rules for Mordecai and Rigby so they'd stop fucking things up, turns out it was actually very helpful to make some rules in a world without rules. That's right, there's no rule against death, no rule against time, no rule against anything. Yet the house rules were able to go against this concept and add rules to this world. And if you break these rules, then you will be destroyed.

Fists of Justice
When Skips needed to defeat the powerful Klorgbane but was too hurt to do it, Mordecai and Rigby took the task and used the powerful fists of Justice. White Elephant Gift
(Yeah I just really wanted to show this gif, it's the funniest scene in the show.)
Universal Remote
The Universal remote is a very powerful weapon in the Format wars. By pressing the right buttons and activating it, it was able to turn all the nearby formats and tech against their creators and serve them instead. It basically turns technology against the one who used them in the first place, so said technology will serve Mordecai and Rigby instead.
Pogs
Hey, remember pogs? Yeah you probably don't.
Well they're little discs that can be stacked on top of each other and you can slam on the pogs to see how many will fly off the stack. Mordecai made such a tall stack, when he slammed his piece, it would create a giant explosion.
Ghost Toasters
These devices were given to Mordecai and Rigby after they…erm.. accidentally summoned a whole army full of Ghosts. With these weapons, Mordecai and Rigby can shoot really cooler lasers, but these aren't normal really cool lasers.. they're specifically designed to kill ghosts.
Ugly Uniforms
Whenever the Park had to make uniforms to gain traction for the park, they came out pretty….ugly. So they ended up trying to throw it away. But the mixture was so ugly and horrendous, it created a black hole of ugliness, which would suck in anything considered ugly on the outside and inside.
Golden Game Badges
No no, they don't give them special powers or abilities or make them stronger or anything. Then why include them? Because they just look cool.. that's it.
Sleeping Darts
These darts are able to instantly knock you out once shot, like any sleeping dart would. The dart also has an option that will instantly wake you up after you are forcefully put to sleep. Yeah maybe don't use it on yourself too much..

Multiversal Remote
This is almost like a Universal remote that can work on any TV. Except it's a Multiversal Remote, so it won't change the channel…it'll change the Universe. That's right, whatever you point at, it can be an object, a room, or a person.. it'll change Universe. You can think of this as Transmutation, but it'll change your Universal biology to where you'll be switched to a version of you that probably doesn't even exist.

Abilities
Finn ️
Autotune
Whenever Finn was younger, he accidentally swallowed a computer chip which let his voice basically become living autotune. Doesn't do anything useful but still pretty cool..
Telepathy
Using his super powered mind, Finn could telepathically communicate with the Ancient Tandem War Elephant.
Cheat Code Combo
With this real life cheat code, Finn could zap and erase away nearby enemies from existence. BMO was almost gonna use this on them so it's not exclusive to video game characters only loll
Finn Telepathic Hand
Think of this as like a ghost hand.. whenever Finn is missing his arm and has repressed energy, it'll create this hand as a replacement. It's crazy powerful and it could even enlarge itself as seen above..
Nightosphere Portal Creation
Thanks to Marceline, Finn knew exactly how to banish Hunson Abadeer back to the Nightosphere. What you see above is how Finn can do exactly that and banish someone to the Nightosphere.
Hermit Eyes
After being cursed, Finn obtained these magic eyes that turn people into what Finn perceives them to be, being able to manipulate age by turning the princess into a teenager, and was able to turn Neptor into a normal microwave, BMO into an angel and the ice king into Simon. Although they have the disadvantage that if Finn starts believing bad things about himself, he will turn into an uncontrolled monster and run away.
Telekinesis
Along with the cool ghost hand, Finn got the ability to control junk with his mind. He can move a lot of stuff all at once seeing as he made a whole tower leading to outer space..
Astral Projection
Finn basically becomes a ghost like this, whenever he's asleep he can slip out as an astral body and explore places. He could move through anything, fly anywhere and each reach mars, again he's basically like a ghost..
Battle Party Abilities
When Bubblegum made a battleground for all to fight in, Finn would prove himself worthy in the battlefield. You may notice that both Finn and Jake get this, however we'll be separating it because of the fact both have different abilities.
Fury (Passive) | Finn is able to hit the same enemy multiple times with normal attacks such as Bombastic Dash or The Ring! It will increase his damage to the enemy. |
Armored Attack | Finn is able to create a shield around himself for about 3 seconds, it can even explode if Finn hits max fury. |
Bombastic Dash | Finn dashes forward and continuously slashes enemies in his path. |
The Ring! | Finn can summon 4 sword walls, basically creating a personal fighting ring around him and his opponents made of swords. |
Blue Comet Existence
As y'all know, Finn is the reincarnation of many many beings, one of them being this comet destined to land on earth. However Finn is very special, for he represents the concept of Good in the universe. Every comet and their incarnations represent a certain concept, like how the lich is the concept of Evil. And since beings like the Lich can exist before creation, that'd mean he's a universal concept. Now this doesn't mean Finn can't die, he can obviously die as we've seen it. This however does mean he's always destined to reincarnate as another being, another force of good.
Jake 索
Alien Biology
Plot twist, Jake is actually an alien!!! And his Alien biology gives him his cool powers. He's an ancient alien from another planet who can generate loads of power with his own energy. It's called stretchy essence, which is what powers their stretchy powers. However if it's siphoned, Beings like them can lose their power and die. That's ok though since they have so much essence, some aliens can cover an entire small planet..so good luck catching them.
Stretchy Powers
As mentioned before, Jake has really cool stretchy powers. And they're extremely versatile, he can grow any part of his body to any size, any length, and any form. Jake can morph any part of his body into weapons, can make his hand the size of a planet, can shrink himself to small size, can duplicate himself multiple times, can enter people's body and control them, can regenerate holes in his body, and is able to even grow wings. Jake basically has endless possibilities when it comes to how his body can work, and there's no not limit to what he could do.
Jake also has some neat stretchy abilities in “Pirates of the Enchiridion" such as
- Twister (Jake starts with this special attack.)
- Level 1 - Spin Slap - Deal swift damage to one or more enemies. Chance to Boggle Jake. ( Chance to Boggle an enemy!) (Cost = 3)
- Level 3 - Wild Whirlwind - Deal big swift damage to one or more enemies. Chance to Boggle Jake. (Chance to Boggle an enemy!) (Cost = 5)
- Level 5 - Super Crazy Cyclone - Deal massive swift damage to one or more enemies. Chance to Boggle Jake. (Chance to Boggle an enemy!) (Cost = 7)
- Jake Shield (Received by completing a sidequest (Liberation of Stinkweed Island)
- Level 1 - Decoy Dupe - Protect a hero from being attacked. Jake will take some damage from each hit. (Cost = 1)
- Level 4 - Double Decoy Dupe - Protect two heroes from being attacked. Jake will take some damage from each hit. (Cost = 2 )
- Level 6 - Party Shield - Protect all heroes from being attacked. Jake will take some damage from each hit. (Cost = 3)
- Dogerang (Received by completing a sidequest (Sand Bagger)
- Level 1 - Whomp - Hit an enemy with swift damage ( Chance to Flump an enemy!) (Cost = 4)
- Level 4 - Whomp Whomp - Hit two enemies with swift damage ( Chance to Flump an enemy!) (Cost = 7)
- Level 5 - Whomp Whomp Whomp - Hit all enemies with swift damage (Chance to Flump an enemy!) (Cost = 8)
Battle Party Abilities
Jake knew he was strong and cool enough to enter the battleground and prove himself worthy, and he'd have cool powers to go along with it. As stated before, these abilities are being separated because both Finn and Jake have separate abilities.
Snarl (Passive) | Jake's able to boost his basic attack power, and can only happen once every 8 seconds to a given target. |
Stretchy Grab | Jake is able to stretch his arm length to attack foes. He can stun the first enemy hit for 2 seconds, and he can rapidly pull himself towards his opponent. |
Jake Balloon | Jake inflates himself into a huge bouncy ball form, and can knock back, or damage all nearby enemies. |
Giant Jake | For about 5 seconds, Jake can grow huge and stomp around the battlefield. He can basically become invincible to most attacks for a short amount of time, although he becomes limited in using normal attacks. |
Finn and Jake
Royal Promise
Promises must always be kept, some more than others. If you make a “royal" promise then you MUST keep it, or else terrible things will happen. Time will stop, the guardians of the royal promise will come and put you through trial by fire. However if you can solve a simple math question, then it will be undone..
Wizard Magic
Finn and Jake were on the path to becoming mega powerful wizards, and as they were training they gained MANY incredible powers. They could control dust, manipulate and transform shadows, create hair, create giant awesome wings, morph parts of their bodies into cool stuff like Swords of a tigers arm, put you to sleep, have Dragon Eyes, manipulate flames, move things with your mind, awaken people, deflect magic attacks, and also just use every single one of these powers all at once lol.
Sound Manipulation
In the game “Sound Castle" Finn and Jake are able to summon sound waves from multiple Adventure Time characters in order to fight off enemies and make them back off.
Astral Summoning
When Finn needed to find a way out of his paralysis, he tried going into his astral mind to summon a beast to help him out…unfortunately he summoned a bunch of Butterflies. Thankfully, Finn and Jake could control the butterflies with their mind, so they could make butterfly constructs and make it so the Butterflies can carry and move them around.
4th wall awareness
Fun fact: Jake was the one who filmed the Adventure Time intro that's shown off every episode! Wonder who published it..
Plot Manipulation
Thanks to a spell from Ice King, the reader of the comic would be able to control all of Finn and Jakes actions in the comic and all the possible scenarios they can do. However Peebs would undo this spell and make it so Finn and Jake can control the READER instead. So they could force the reader to turn the page to the end of the comic or the next plotline without any conflict.
Deadworld Portal
By looking towards the crack 2 walls collide, and then crossing their eyes, Finn and Jake could open a portal to Death's world and interact with the undead…although they're gonna try and eat your skin.
Ice Ninjas
Finn and Jake found a book containing all of the Ice Ninja techniques that Ice King had learned. Not only do they become masters of ice magic, they can create any weapon made of ice. Whether it be ice swords, nunchucks, ice stars, shields etc. Finn and Jake are also able to create snow blizzards that could deflect, create fake clones of themselves, spawn arrays of weapons to launch at the opponent, and for stealth; Finn and Jake could create snow smoke bombs to automatically disappear or teleport entirely.
Super Special Fighting Moves
These are a bunch of super cool fighting moves that Finn and Jake would use in case of emergency, it's super duper top secret so they must be some serious moves.
- Belly of the Bro: Jake shrinks down and hides inside Finn’s belly
- Crouching Tiger: Jake along with Finn hides behind a tiger, the bad guy will probably be too scared to investigate.
- Jake Hands: Jake turns into a giant fist that goes over Finn's fist so he can punch with Jake.
- Boomerfinn: Finn is thrown like a boomerang, punches the bad guy in mid air and then returns to Jake.
- “Planet” Jake: Jake stretches out to cover the entire planet in a thin film of Jake, then when the Bad Guy least expects it, he pops up a hand to punch ‘em.
- Snowsuit Jake: Useful on Ice Missions when legs get cold.
- Jake Hole: Finn hides in a hole, enemy says “Hey are you in that hole?" Jake punches them down the hole and when they land Finn punches them again just to be safe.
- Space Elevator Jake: Jake turns into an elevator to SPACE. (Useful on space missions if they ever happen again.)
- The Submicron Diss: Jake rearranges the atoms of someone's face so at a microscope level they spell out "I'm a dummy” and the bad guy doesn't know until Finn says “you sure are!" Then they realize the truth..
- Jake Suit: honestly why they don't do this 24/7 is my question.
- Finn Suit: yeah this really hurt last time they tried this.
- Sawblade Eyes Jake: remember not to rub your eyes.
- Fractal Glob Jake: Jake becomes a giant Jake who created a bunch of smaller Jakes..it's pretty cool.
- Bellytime Finn: Finn eats a lot and then enemies get distracted by his SPECTACULAR belly.
- MechaJake and Adventure-Ready Finn: nothing bad could possibly happen in this form..
Reverse Quests
You see, a reverse quest is a lot different from a normal question. If you do a Reverse Quest, then quite literally everything will be reversed. Appearances, rules of nature, how the world works, everything just becomes the opposite or reverse of what it originally was..
Universal Source Code
This wonky place is the Universal source code, the source of basically everything in the universe. This place contains the building blocks of the universe, and they basically store every single thing that has ever existed. If you remove one then you're removing a certain thing from the universe to where it never existed in the first place..like a pen!
Non-Physical Interaction
During an escapade against the Fight King, Finn and Jake were constantly battling these Gladiator Ghosts and damaging them. Now you probably see the gif and think Finn and Jake can kill ghosts huh? Well no, after they defeated the fight king the spirits just kinda come back perfectly fine..
Imagination
Imaginaaaaaationnnnnn….
This powerful ability was especially harnessed by Jake and learned by Finn. Imagination is a very powerful colorful thing, but sometimes it's more powerful than the mind can contain, sometimes it can spill out to reality. As Finn states, it's basically like Jake can imagine anything he thinks into reality. He can create objects, enemies or traps from his mind, and they can actually interact with the real world and even hurt you. But this comes with a cost, you can also interact with anything summoned by imagination and hurt it, and said imagination can hurt the one who imagines it so it can possibly backfire. But it also depends on the one who imagines this in the first place, like for Jake, he's very immature and somehow forgets about certain things he's imagined or how they function. But nonetheless, it's still a very useful ability.
Cosmic Imagination
Now, we of course have to talk about the most impressive part of the Enchiridion’s power, to harness Cosmic Imagination. You see Wizards are powerful in nature because they can harness their imagination to such great degrees, similarly to Finn and Jake! Think of it like this, if the Multiverse as a concept only exists if it is perceived, then everything that exists is Mental in nature. And anything that is Mental in nature can be changed and transformed by one's thoughts, manipulating the stuff of his or her Imagination. But that begs the question, If reality is Mental in nature, analogous to a Cosmic Mind, and if Wizardry is a function of the Imagination, then the Forces of Nature in the Multiverse are akin to the Currents of the Cosmic Imagination. Thus, the Origin of such magic or wizardry is at the Core of Creation, and those who can harness such magic can create or destroy as they wish, tapping into the Power of the Cosmic Imagination.
Cosmic Imagination is what created EVERYTHING. The Planet, the Stars, the Universe, the Infinite Multiverse. Every single concept in the Multiverse such as Death and Time was created and can be altered by Cosmic Imagination. Even being able to harness magic such as Wizardry by harnessing your imagination will allow you to learn very cool stuff and use a bunch of awesome magic moves, such as these. Fucking with reality is a base ability of this crazy power, you could theoretically create new laws of existence, manipulate matter and energy, and possibly even create portals to other dimensions. Cosmic Imagination can even affect the concept of causality, it'll basically reverse the process of cause and effect by unfolding time linearly, this is called “Amok Time" and this ability comes with the ability to see past and future all at once. You see even lowly Wizards who at least understand the concept of this nature can use Cosmic Imagination to their advantage, which the Enchiridion has complete knowledge of anyways.
Cosmic Imagination is described as "Self Born” and "Paradoxically Sentient."
Now does this mean Finn and Jake being able to harness this power allows them to be acausal and be able to survive death because Cosmic Imagination is conceptual and constant? No, it just means they can possibly harness some of this power…
In fact it's said the Enchiridion would empower or connect the hero reader with such power of Cosmic Imagination.
Yes this is all very insane, Cosmic Imagination and how it affects the Cosmology will be talked about later, but remember this. Remember how I stated Finn and Jake can use their imagination to create anything they imagine..well isn't it a coincidence that…
Their past incarnations could use Cosmic Imagination to a cosmic degree…..
Mordecai
Ice Manipulation
Mordecai really outdid the breath mints with this one. He ate so many breath mints and ended up producing an ice wind that would freeze the entire park and even create snow storms. How tf is his mouth ok???
Laser Eyes
Yeah idk how to really explain this…..uhh
Yeah Mordecai can shoot lasers outta his eyes.
Mordo Blast
In Grudgeball, The whole park gang become experts in the sport and have special powers. Mordecai uses his attack “Mordo Blast", which will automatically create a giant blast once Mordecai hits an enemy.
Rigby ️
Jinx
Don't you hate being jinxed? Everytime you even say a word you get punched. That's why Rigby used a special incantation which would get rid of the Jinx..by getting rid of everything else! By writing your name in a mirror and saying it 3 times, it will create a corrupted doppelganger that will corrupt anything it slashes through.
Creation
Jesus Christ-
Yeah this man lived such a horrible disgusting lifestyle, he quite literally created life that was a part of him. I guess they're basically his children but when washed, they will run off and separate from him.
Meteorites
Yeahh Rigby can just summon Meteorites lol, and he can make it shower upon all of his enemies…so basically just make sure you don't piss the guy off..
Tech Kwon Do
Rigby has also become obsessed with Grudgeball, and he's just as powerful and skilled as everyone else. His signature attack is “Tech Kwon Do", which allows him to create a large laser attack that will rush his opponent and damage them good.
Mordecai and Rigby
Body Essence
In this world, your body can gain command over your own being. Like when Rigby ate too much Junk food and his body just gave up on him. But this isn't his weird goo body or anything, as skips said; this is actually your consciousness. Once this happens, you don't have a body or any internal attributes. And if you don't return to your body before sunset, then you'll never be able to inhabit your old body again. It should be mentioned that even without your conscience, your body can act independently on its own and even choose to go back to you. What's interesting is that even without a body, you could still possess inanimate objects and bodies without a consciousness. What's even more interesting is that you can fuck over other consciousness’ and take over a body that already has a conscious and fight for the body. Just think of this like a spirit, their bodies can survive and move fine without one, and they can choose to get their conscience back without a hassle.
Death Kwon Do
Death Kwon Do is an ancient Martial arts mastery that gives you the power to do almost anything. There are many techniques to Death Kwon Do and Frankly, Mordecai and Rigby mastered almost all of them. These techniques consist of….
- Bicep Flex of Death: wanna flex on those who see you as weak??? The Bicep Flex of Death will flex your biceps and….well..that's it.
- Leg Lifts of Death: it's a good beginner's move though it's a lame move. This move would not protect you in actual situations
- Pelvic Thrust of Death: this is basically the worst move you can do in a party…
- The Death Punch of Death: arguably the most deadly move of Death Kwon Do, it can create massive attacks and blasts from just punches. It even has the potential to create craters that reach the earth's core
- The Death Kick of Death: another deadly move of Death Kwon Do, it also creates massive blasts and AOE from kicks and can be used in many ways.
- The Death Kwon Clog: “uhhh sensei I think someone just Death Kwon Clogged the toilet” " NOOOOOOOOOO”
- The Death Block: the Death Block is THE ultimate counter move, it counters and blocks almost any move or technique and will leave you unharmed.
- The Death Jump: "hey, you jump good” "oh uh, thank you??” This basically makes you jump INSANELY HIGH, it's totally not just flying……
- The Step of Death: this a very situational Death Kwon Do move, whenever you're in the Death Kwon Do dungeon you must say step of death every time you step these rods or else you instantly fall to your death.
- The Death Flight: this Death Kwon Do move gives you the ability to fly….so basically an upgraded death jump
- The Bicycle Kick Of Death: this move can be used to deflect any kind of attack and redirect it at the attacker, it's especially useful when you're trying to make someone eat a sandwich that makes you explode instantaneously..
The Audit
Whenever the Park was audited, it would result in the entire park losing everything….. literally. It would be managed and maintained on the computer, but when Rigby messed up the audit; it would cause the entire park to almost be completely erased. The process involved everything nearby being Transmuted into binary code and then deleted, it would basically rip apart space itself and create a void which would destroy everything around it. While it doesn't affect anyone in the Audit, it takes away everything else.
Dizzy World
Whenever you spin around and get too Dizzy, it will cause you to pass out. Your consciousness will be trapped inside a world in your mind where the only way you could escape is if someone else enters your mind. Oh yeah, if you yourself get dizzy and fall onto someone unconscious, then you could enter their conscious mind. (PSYCHONAUTS REFERENCE??)
Rock Paper Scissors
Ah, a classic game of Rock Paper Scissors. But what happens when you can't lose a game and y'all end up getting a tie 100 times? Well then a giant black hole appears, destroys everything and absorbs whatever the game was about.
Solids
Do me a solid and give this blog a full read..if you fully read this blog then reply to it saying “I did you a solid." But if you don't do a solid, then all space breaks apart and reality will be screwed.
Viral Video
When Mordecai and Rigby wanted to make a viral video, they didn't truly know the consequences of being viral. Once they were about to make a viral video, it sent Pops and Mordecai & Rigby to the Internet itself. Where you would be trapped inside your viral video, reliving your stupidity for eternity.
Realm of Darthon abilities
As I said before, Mordecai and Rigby have the actual book of Darthon and know how to use its powers. And the magic it has is very powerful. It can summon any enemy you command, create armies of monsters, summon your allies, and most importantly..change the rules. You can undo the actions other players have already played and remove abilities from opponents, make it so certain abilities cannot work, reverse the damage done by an attack to the sender, and make it so any of your commands come true. You can even cause a summoned enemy to stop attacking and instantly self-destruct, undo the effects done by a command, create instant defenses to certain actions, and change the opponent’s attack itself. They can even summon an Immunity Sword, a sword that is immune to all the rules changes mentioned before and more.
Non Physical-Interaction
???? Yeah he just..killed Summertime Lovin'...an intangible being who represents music. Though being able to fight and harm spirits is pretty consistent in this world.
Construct Creation
When Mordecai and Rigby became obsessed with Action movies, they would harness the powers of an action movie hero. So with their weapon choices, they had the ability to create any action vehicle; such as a helicopter or a motorcycle!
Poetry
Poetry is a very sophisticated and special form of art, especially in their hands. They can summon items and people from their words, make people fly into the air, change a person's functions based on speech, transmute people's body's or shape, cause them to vomit words, and even erase people from existence.
Rapping
As Mordecai and Rigby themselves said, their raps are able to give them special unique powers..which is funnily consistent. They can hover into the air and shoot energy beams, which can even cause these and surrounding areas to explode or disintegrate.
Summoning
With just an air fist pump, Mordecai and Rigby can summon any of their past items and Weapons to them to use in a big fight. Even weapons that were thought to be one time uses, or weapons that were actually destroyed like the Power, they just get them all back. (This also disproves the “they wouldn't use their past stuff" argument..baby duck fights are full of this lol)
Video Game Genie Powers
With a magic Genie cartridge, Mordecai and Rigby were able to summon the Videogame Genie, who would grant them real life cheat codes such as..
- Level Select - with this cheat, Mordecai and Rigby can change their physical level. (Kinda like Age Manipulation, but it changes their power and experience level) So they could go from cavemen, to old men, to full on futuristic robots.
- Unlimited HP - basically think of this as unlimited health. No matter how many times Mordecai and Rigby are hit or damaged, they'll never take actual damage.
- Big Head Mode - big head? Yeah big head. Why would anyone want this? Well think of it this way…….why wouldn't anyone want this?
- Unlimited Ammo - have you ever ran out of ammo when you need to take out an enemy? With this cheat, Mordecai and Rigby can use as much ammo as they want and it'll never run out.
- Turbo Mode - This cheat will make it so you'll always escape a chase. Turbo Mode will make you zoom through the ground and get you anywhere quickly, just make sure you know where you're going..
- Unlimited Lives - uh oh, looks like you have died! Don't fret young rapscallion, with this cheat Mordecai and Rigby can access unlimited Lives! Everytime they die they will instantly respawn!
Montage
Immortality
As you know (from Fives obviously) that people in this world can become GHOSTSSS after they die. They become intangible spirits who can choose what they can interact with, and can even interact with other spirits. However, if needed, then we've seen that the gang can come back to life after becoming ghosts in the next episode. These guys can evade death in many ways, people in this world can survive having holes in their body, being stabbed, having their head or other body parts chopped off, and they can even take a second chance at life if they already died.
Other Abilities
Yeahh this one panel has a LOT so let's go over it and what kinda extra abilities it would give Mordecai and Rigby.
- Plot Manipulation - while exiting the effects of the time loop and returning back to normal, the plot of the story would continue right where it left off before the Time Loop would fuck with everything. Not to mention it would remove the plotline of them even getting the time orb in the first place. Also they legit just break out of their continuity, as Rigby said their continuity is still moving forward.
- Dimensional Travel - yeah they literally just leave the physical comic panels they're in and exist outside of it, this would be a classic sealing resistance and an example of dimensional travel.
- Dimensional Manipulation? - you can argue that Mordecai and Rigby becoming a higher dimension while the panel is still 2D counts as them manipulating their dimension? It really depends on how you wanna look at it.
Forms
Finn ️
Jake Suit
Whenever Finn can't take on an enemy by just punching the knockers out of them, he uses the Jake suit! The Jake suit allows Finn to kick the enemies butt with extra strength and extra kick!
Hug Wolf
When you get infected by the Hug Wolf, you become the Hug Wolf. Every night on the full moon, Finn would turn into this dreaded beast, and what would he do? He'd hug people, he'd hug people real hard, sometimes to where people can't feel it.
Jake 索
Alien form
This is James true form, where he becomes naturally bigger, becomes naturally more stretchy, and even has a bunch of cool features! Like extra eyes. Yeah there's not too much to the form but it looks cool..
Party Power Form
Jake is a very party crazed dawg, that's why the Party God himself gave Jake the power of 1000 parties in order to help save Finn.

In this form, Mordecai gains the ability to become a living jet that could zoom and fly through space, while shooting a bunch of fast cool lasers. Mordecai basically becomes a living transformer..
Rigby ️
Wereskunk
After being sprayed by a Wereskunk, Rigby would have to adapt the traits of a Wereskunk. This would cause him to enlarge in size and be much stronger than before. This also causes him to have a skunk stink, which will cause things around him to decay and will make people become sick. And he simply can't choose to find a solution to this, cuz if he fully becomes a Wereskunk, then he won't want to turn back.
Video Game Avatar
Rigby wanted to get the perfect present for Mordecai, so he went inside a gaming program called zipgidz. He would enter a video game world in order to make his own video game, but he'd have to get past all the viruses. Thankfully being inside the game not only made him stronger, he was able to create massive fireballs and complete the game all on his own.
Tough Guy Form
Whenever Rigby got a “Tough Guy" shirt, it really made him think he was a jerky tough guy. It affected him so much he became a full on Tough beast…who once again…was an actual jerk. "Tough Guys” aren't cool..
Nostalgia Possessed Form
Rigby was once possessed by the spirit of nostalgia itself. This possession gave Rigby a bunch of cool powers. He could transmute you into a toy, reality warp like he was Sonic EXE (he was able to fuck with the comic panels themselves), create entire worlds and summon anything he pleases like giant pogs, and he was able to stack so many pogs; he created a nuclear attack.
Mordecai and Rigby
Ghost Form
After Five’s brother did a secret technique so Mordecai and Rigby could sneak into a party, he turned them into Ghosts. In this form Mordecai and Rigby can choose if they're physical to the world or not. So they can either be intangible or actually interact with objects and people around them.
Basketball Form
Suck at basketball? Thankfully the Basketball God gave Mordecai and Rigby powers that would make them really good at basketball. They would become God like on the court and be comparable to the basketball god himself. Hell, they were able to completely zoom through space and create large explosions.
Maximized Form
Jesus Christ what is that???? Well Mordecai and Rigby learned that gaming wasn't about winning, but about spending time with your best friend and having fun. So they were granted the power to win the competition by becoming the greatest gamers alive.
Mech Forms
Finn and Jake
Tech Mech
Finn and Jake are able to call upon a bunch of robots like BMO to build on them and turn them into butt kicking building sized mechs. With this totally awesome power, they can kick anyone's butts in a faster amount of time..
BMO-Mech and Jake Mech
Pretty awesome right? C'mon, you know this is fucking awesome as hell.
Mordecai and Rigby

This form is activated once Mordecai and Rigby become part of the Baby Duck giant form. They gain many more powers than they had before. This consists of a Sonic Shield that can block any attack, a rocket fist, super jump, energy Projection, flight, a power sword, and can create very large explosion blasts.

Support
Finn and Jake
BMO
Finn and Jake are not the only ones who live in the Treehouse, meet BMO! Created by “Moe", BMO is a fun little guy who brings joy and fun everywhere he goes. He does weird junk when no one is around, but he cares a lot about his best friends Finn and Jake. BMO may be a little cuckoo but he's protective of everything he loves, loves playing Video games with Finn and Jake, and he's a valuable asset to their arsenal. He strives to adventure just like Finn and Jake, and he's ventured across his past, the cosmos, and even became the king of Ooo. We all love this little guy so let's see what he has to offer..
Now BMO can survive a lot of junk, he's effectively immortal since he hasn't aged a day in a thousand years, he's even survived having a huge hole on the side of his body. BMO knows an attack that can stop your heart, is old enough to vote... and have a laser weapon for some reason, has a strobe light mode to blind opponents, and of course can transport you inside of him so you'll be inside the video game you're playing. BMO can survive on his own for many many years, and he's a crafty survivor. Sure he may not be PHYSICALLY the best at fighting but…he'll try his best..
Ancient Psychic Tandem War Elephant
When Finn wished for the APTWE at the center of the magic labyrinth. By telepathically connecting to him, Finn was able to keep the elephant as friend and an ally. He's a very powerful dude, I mean yeah he's an Elephant with ARMOR. The Ancient Psychic Tandem War Elephant has telepathic powers, and it has a bunch of weapons that can shoot really cool laser beams and blasters.
Finn and Jake army
When they needed help to defeat the Lich, Finn and Jake would command an entire army full of Finn and Jakes. Some would be living sand, while others would be living ice.
Finn and Jake clones
After using a spell that accidentally did..this…it would create an entire army of Finn and Jake clones. Although they mentally act differently, they're still the Finn and Jake's we know and love.
Huh? These guys?
So, an explanation for why these next people are here. In the game “Sound Castle" Finn and Jake are able to summon these dudes to attack nearby enemies and use their power. There's other games where they can summon them like "Avalaunch.” So yes, they'd be able to access these guys in a fight.
Ice King
Once the Dreaded rival of Finn and Jake, the kidnapper of princess’s, the evil wizard of the cold, the Ice King. He was once the rival and main enemy of Finn and Jake, and they would fight and rival each other for many years. However it was soon discovered that the Ice King was actually a sad broken old man named Simon Petrikov, a man who was corrupted and tortured by the magic crown. After seeing this, Finn and Jake would feel bad for him and started to try actually becoming friends with him. They started somewhat trusting the Ice King, even in certain conflicts they would have the Ice King join them..
Ice King as an entity has been around for hundreds of years, and he's very experienced in confrontations and wizardly magic. Even compared to other Wizards in their world, Ice King is considered very powerful because of how he can harness his ice magic. Even though his mind is broken, he's good at quickly thinking about what to do to counter someone dangerous such as Flame Princess. I mean remember, he's been in combat with Finn and Jake for many years and he's taken a lot of harsh punishment while battling with them.
Thanks to the Ice Crown, Ice King can of course shoot pure ice and snow at people. He can freeze his opponents in blocks of ice, can cast ice lightning, can summon large Blizzard storms to attack people down below, can create his own snow monsters and support by giving life to snow in his kingdom, and the Ice King can fly by using his large white beard. Ice King does have some zanier abilities like this, such as taking people to his “imagination zone" which is a world where his imagination comes to life, His enchanting Wizard Eyes allow the Ice King to see into the Spirit world and see spirits/invisible beings, the Ice King is also trained and mastered in Ice Ninja magic similarly to Finn and Jake, and his beard dandruff can create snow that spawned a massive disease that infected the Candy Kingdom. Some other abilities he has includes precognition, resistances to mind, heat, and Radiation manipulation.
Lumpy Space Princess
Oh my glob this one….
Well uh…Lumpy Space Princess is the upcoming ruler to the Lumpy Space Kingdom, a Kingdom full of total globs. Like LSP herself, most Lumpy Space people are sassy, attention seeking, ignorant and genuinely unpleasant. LSP may tend to lose her temper, but that's only if you call her out for her stuff. Although she loves being the center of attention, she sometimes at least tries to be nice to people….so.. she's not so bad…
She did save all of Ooo so we gotta give her some credit.
While she herself doesn't have too much in terms of Combat, skill, experience, endurance, strategy and basically everything useful here…. however she does have one notable ability. Lumpy Space people have the ability to bite people and give them the “Lumps". It's basically a werewolf thing, where after a long enough time you'll eventually be turned into a Lumpy Space Person.
Princess Bubblegum
Princess Bubblegum, Princess Bonnibel, Bonnie, Peebs, the princess of the Candy Kingdom is known by many for her humble ruling and her scientific prowess. She has been an ally for Finn and Jake from the very beginning, and she's been a ruler to others for much longer. Once part of the mother gum, Bonnibel was separated along with another gum that she would call her brother, and she dedicated herself to protecting him. She saw herself as his big sister, but she wanted a real family, she wanted more people to protect. She would experiment with that idea when she created Cousin Chicle, Aunt Lolly, and Uncle Gumbald. But after finding out they wanted to try and betray her because they were so much like her, she had to stop them from trying to basically kill her. She had to turn them into less intelligent candy people, which gave her an idea..if she made a family that was just as intelligent, and ambitious as her, then they'd only turn on her. But if she made them less intelligent, then she would have an easier time trying to protect them. So she made many less intelligent, happier candy citizens. Bonnibel would become their mother, but also their princess, she would rule the Candy Kingdom. For hundreds of years, Princess Bubblegum would use her genius mind, princess craftiness and her magical prowess to continue protecting her kingdom. She would befriend many people such as Marceline, her future girlfriend, other princesses in the land of Ooo, and of course Finn and Jake; her knights in shining armor. No matter what kinda personal or mental conflict will happen, like losing her kingdom, losing herself, and facing her Uncle Gumbald once again, Bonnibel will continue to protect her kingdom and her candy people…
Bubblegum is hundreds of years old, she's been a princess for such a time, and she's been a brilliant scientist for even longer. She's made many experiments, many scientific notations, she's even caused a huge Zombie apocalypse by accident…sometimes a solution is so simple she was too smart to see it. And don't underestimate her ability in combat, she could combat Finn and Jake and even battle against an amped Ricardio. She's been an actual war general before and she's led her banana guards to battle. Bubblegum created her gigantic gumball guardians, can make robot replicas of herself, made a time travel sphere, created self replicating nanites that can make anything muffins, and even created an artificial soul. So yes, Princess Bubblegum is a very skilled, intelligent individual…
Peebs has made a large abundance of weapons throughout the years, such as a bunch of different arrays of ray guns, explosives, gauntlets, swords, paralyzing potions, forcefields, a bunch of armour and protection gear, and invisibility tech…yeah just a lot of tech. While she does have access to some Wizard Magic, she generally looks down upon wizards and would rather not use it over science. But remember, Bubblegum is the current incarnation of the candy element, so she has the power of the candy elemental at its purest. Bubblegum can, shoot candy, like any candy of her choosing. She mostly shoots “beams" of jellybeans that can change size and take structures down, and she can shoot out soda and mint, and make it explode like fizz. But at her peak of element mastery (which takes a long time to harness so non standard..) She can transmute anything nearby into candy citizens, she was able to transform nearly all of Ooo into gum, can mind control all candy she controls, and overpower the other elements and connect to all candy in the Galaxy. I would mention her entire army but, Finn and Jake can summon her…not the entire Candy Kingdom lolll
The princess also has a lethal arsenal for when she must defend her own or when she must help her friends, such as weapons capable of turning enemies into batteries, or weapons that paralyze enemies.
Oh yeah them too
Thanks to Marceline accidentally telling him how to do this, Finn can create a gate between Ooo and the Nightosphere. Doing this will instantly summon the powerful ruler of the Nightosphere, and father of Marceline the vampire queen, Hunson Abadeer. Marcy can also follow them in these portals and can constantly track where they are…she actually sneaks and hides around their house like constantly? Let's be honest Hunson isn't directly helping Finn and Jake, he's just sucking all the souls nearby
Marceline
Marceline, the Vampire Queen, the Daughter of Hunson Abadeer, Elise and Simon Petrikov. Marceline grew up in a very dark world, she would experience the greatest tragedy of the mushroom war, the mushroom bomb; which destroyed all life on the planet. Marcy and her mother Elise would try their best to survive in this world, that was until she would die from a terrible illness. A while after, Marcy would be under the care of a man named Simon Petrikov, who would be her father figure for a very long time. Unfortunately in fear that he would hurt her, Simon would leave her under the care of her real father, Hunson Abadeer…and obviously Marcy wasn't the biggest fan of his care for her. Marcy would sever ties with her father, and she would venture out through the world on her own. She would live on her own for a few years, but unexpectedly, the age of vampires had reached our world. Marcy would become a vampire hunter defending all humans, but this ended with her becoming a vampire herself thanks to the Vampire. Since then she would continue to venture out through the new magical world, meet many new people such as Princess Bubblegum (her future girlfriend), Finn and Jake (her best friends), and even rekindle her relationship with Simon Petrikov (who became the Ice King.) She may be the Vampire Queen, and she may love chaos and trickery, but you can also trust her to be there for you and help you.. because Marceline has more of a heart than any other demon or vampire alive..
Marceline has been alive for many many years…basically 1000, and she's very experienced in combat. She's fought many many vampires, demons, and even ghosts. Marceline is a professional hunter, and a professional demon! She's battled her own father Hunson Abadeer, the once thought to be deceased Vampire King, and many of the foes Finn and Jake have had to face (and Finn and Jake themselves…) Marcy has battled many many many many weird monsters throughout Ooo, she's even helped take down the incarnation of Chaos and Discord itself, Golb. She has a pretty neat kit too, Marcy has an abundance of Vampire hunting weapons such as stakes, the Nightosphere amulet, and a copy of the Enchiridion. And of course she has her Ax Bass, it's good for music AND kicking bad dudes butts..
Marceline has some very interesting powers thanks to being half demon blood and half vampire. Although she is susceptible to the basic vampiric weaknesses like Sunlight and stakes, she can fly, bite you and turn you into a Vampire, or just suck the red out of anything (or your blood..if she wants to.) Marceline also has the ability to absorb souls by sucking them like her father Hunson, control minds like the Empress whom she absorbed, transform her body like the Hierophant, and even regenerate like Moon. Similarly to her father, Marcy can control fire, become invisible, raise the dead, control things with her mind, and even create portals to many worlds. Some other random abilities persist of Teleportation, telepathy, Non Physical Interaction, and she has very enhanced senses.
Hunson Abadeer
Oh it's the devil..Hunson Abadeer is the renowned ruler of the dreaded Nightosphere, and father of Marceline the Vampire Queen. How do you describe Hunson Abadeer? Well there's a couple of words that can be used to describe him. Powerful, chaotic, demonic and ruthless, he's one of the most evil entities ever conceived before time and creation was conjured up. The ruler of the Nightosphere loves to consume the souls of all others, and he enjoys being a malevolent force of evil that is feared and driven by such chaos.
Hunson is a very powerful magical being, he's most known for his ability of absorbing souls, he can absorb hundreds of souls in the span of an entire night and still crave more. That's because the more souls Hunson devours, the stronger he could become. Abadeer can shapeshift his body, can see the secrets of your soul, can create magic portals across worlds including one to a bottomless void, can Instantly instil death upon you, seal people inside inanimate objects, can fight ghosts, can Instantly make people afraid of him, can control the flames and darkness of the Nightosphere, and he's basically impossible to kill normally as he's considered “deathless"
Mordecai and Rigby
Destroyer of Worlds & Lemon Chef
When Mordecai and Rigby found themselves with a magic arcade game that would be a powerful Villainous foe to life, they used their own consoles to create and control a hero that would rival the destroyer of worlds. (It even turns you into a cherry!)
Music Avatar
With enough music power, Mordecai and Rigby can summon an avatar that is manifested by their rock and roll. With this avatar, they can fight against music itself. Like when they fought Summertime Lovin' and caused the mere existence of the song to be destroyed.
Baby Ducks
Just a bunch of baby ducks that Mordecai and Rigby found in a fountain. These Baby Ducks as mentioned before are able to transform into Power Rangers esque mechs that become bigger each time they absorb more people. They're only a cell phone call away (as in you just call them and then they arrive almost instantly lol) These baby ducks can fuse together and become the hyperduck.
Park Crew
As y'all know, Thanks to the Book of Darthon, Rigby can summon all of their allies to help fight for them. And in the game with Rigby as the main character, he can summon the Park Gang and unleash their power (yeah it actually says it that loll) So yeah Mordecai and Rigby can access…
Benson
Benson is the manager of the park, and Mordecai and Rigby’s boss. Sure he may get EXTREMELY angry from time to time, but it's his job to make sure they do better. He does care about them, but sometimes they're just really really…hard to deal with. Luckily he's always with them whenever they need help, even in fights he'll help his workers, this is no different.
Now Benson is especially skilled as a drummer, with his especially big drum kit, he was able to create the greatest drum solo ever seen. He owns the Book of Park Records, he has a suit that immensely upgrades his skill, strength, and durability, he has the House rules, robots that can dematerialize matter, and even a jet that ripped a hole through space and time.
Benson can also access abilities such as Death Kwon Do and summoning powers. Of course he's most known for his Anger, and this built up anger can cause him to access a powerful state of rage that will destroy anything in his radius, and basically create a giant nuke just from his rage. And his most powerful form is his Holy Order of Orderliness form, a form that reveals he's the reincarnation of Orderliness, who will bring the concept of order to our world. When Benson attained this form, he had the power to destroy the Oracle, the physical concept of Chaos and destruction…Benson would truly prove to everyone and himself, that he's not just a loser manager who works at the park, he's a loser manager who'll do anything for his park and the people in it.
Skips
Skips is the Park Handyman, has been working for the park for over 100 years. While he may seem like a tough and brooding type of guy on the outside, he's actually very sweet and caring for his fellow park workers. He's an immortal yeti with tons of knowledge and skills, and he'll always help his friends in need whenever they need help or are in trouble.
Skips was the one who first used the powerful Fists of justice, he had a sword he's used to battle and defeat his inner stress, he knows about basically any weapon Mordecai and Rigby have, owns the dreamcatchers, and has had 200 of years worth of experience fighting off threats and gaining knowledge of magic. One time he even gained access to technology given to him by a dude, this tech would give him Precognition and a gadget that would reset time by a minute. This was useful when Skips fought a monster that threatened to disrupt the space time continuum and constantly reset time, yet Skips remained unaffected by this. Skip's mind is a steel trap, he can basically handle anything..
Skips has some pretty neat abilities on his own, he can create an astral form that could travel through dimensions, he can access lots of the same abilities as Mordecai and Rigby just cuz of the fact he knows how to use it and how to undo them, and of course he has Immortality. This means he cannot physically age and he can survive most dangerous situations. Skips has really been through a lot, he's beat Death in an arm wrestling contest, he's fought the powerful Klorgbane, and even won a dating show. If you think Skips can't handle something, think again. No matter what will happen, Skips will always be there for his friends. Because no matter what Mordecai and Rigby face, Skips has seen it before..
Muscle Man and Fives
Muscle Man and Fives are the 2 other bros in the park, sure they may joke around a lot and can be extremely annoying to deal with…but these guys are a lot of fun.
Fives is a ghost who can choose whether or not he wants to be tangible or not, which means he can interact with weapons and objects, but he can also become completely intangible to anyone trying to fight him. He offers lots of support for Muscle Man, he can extend his size and shoot ectoplasm that'll get rid of other ghosts, he can become a protective shield that will cover Muscle Man, and he can act as a backup when Muscle Man needs help in a fight.
As for Muscle Man, you know who else is actually really cool despite being kind of a jerk? MY MOM!
Muscle Man has an array of Guns, Wing Kingdom wings that'll restore his energy, his sweet Muscle Car, a really cool Motorcycle, and some of the same stuff Mordecai and Rigby have. However, his most notable items are his pranking supplies, he has giant water balloons, Whoopee cushions, toilet paper, mirrors you idiot, and even a Champagne slime bomb; that was able to cover the entire space bush space station in a butt load of slime. Muscle Man is considered the master prankster, and he's been in many prank wars.
Like many others, Muscle Man can also access similar abilities to Mordecai and Rigby. He can access dimensional travel after escaping Death's soul seal, and he can make a Mosh Pit that will instantly cause you to become part of his hive mind. He's used techniques like Death Kwon Do or the Shredder, which can literally shred the competition. And his Odor is literally considered so toxic and full of stink, it can literally repel inanimate objects. He can even the Basketball powers, flex his pecs so they instantly hypnotize women, and even summon his own Cavalry with his own Console War weapons. Don't Piss the guy off, he'll probably purposely kill you because he's angry at you lol. But despite all these flaws, he's still a chill guy who genuinely cares about his bros, and in case you don't trust him…he'll probably know a guy who'll convince you.
Pops
You may be thinking, isn't Pops incredibly sweet and cheerful? Well yes he is, but he's been known to fight alongside Mordecai and Rigby a couple of times. Who can't blame em, he's a professional wrestler. That's surprisingly not even the most crazy thing about him, he's the physical concept of Good, destined to fight the physical concept of Evil..but we'll get more into that later.
Pops surprisingly has some good stuff he can access, he has guns, futuristic weaponry and tech from his Grudgeball future, his own summoning mech part, a car that can literally fly anywhere, and even knows how the double glazed apple fritters work. Pops is very experienced, he's an old guy who's seen a lot of action in his life. He's been in the prank war, been trained as a space soldier, been trained by a monk, and has faced enemies along with his friends at the park. His base abilities consist of his peace with Mother Nature, the dizzy world stuff, and even the power of the Montage. However, this is only in his base form…
With his godly powers, he can activate wayy more powers than before. This consists of Shield creation, energy projection, mind reading and invasion, ice manipulation, Transmutation, life manipulation, weather manipulation, empathic manipulation, power nullification, and some other stuff we'll talk about later. Pops has the power to unravel the fabric of reality and restart the Universe, his power alone could affect the entire universe. He can grow larger than a planet and basically become a fucking super Saiyan. His power can even affect more than just the universe. He can counter the power of Anti-Pops, who can erase anything from reality and rip apart the fabric of reality himself. Ultimately, Pops would sacrifice his life for his friends and the universe, he would prove that kindness and love can defeat any kind of evil out there. He died being the sweet and cheerful person he always was..and it truly was a jolly good show.
Game Support
Finn and Jake
Card Wars
Card Wars is a very hardcore game, especially in the hands of someone so competitive like Jake. This basically acts as like any other normal card game, there's a virtual board that showcases actions done and certain moves when you lay cards down. There's a lot of cards at play, flooping cards allow them to be activated onto the board, like land cards that create a new environment. Jake himself has lots of good items on his deck, he has a tower that allows him to reveal the other players cards and also steal one of them. If you tilt one of your cards then you'll be able to play it as an action card, used to battle your opponent. You can cast items to amp your allies by amping their power source, you could steal cards and flipped allies from your enemy with certain cards, can create natural disasters and even raise the dead. And best of all?? You can cast a pig…
We'd be here all day talking about the way Card Wars works, just play it yourself smh..

They're like the Ice Climbers but even better. They can withstand cold temperatures and climb anything with their pickaxes and raw strength.
Soldier Dudes
Probably a halo reference, but yeah you can summon an entire army of soldier dudes. And they're all just as powerful as you are.
Rapide the Gemhog and Large the Dogbutt
One guy is insanely fast and battle ready, the other can fish really well. They seem familiar…

Weaknesses
Finn and Jake
Finn and Jake may seem like the ultimate bro team that are exceptional at basically anything, but they do come with their flaws. Finn is a devoted hero through and through, but this utter love of adventure could sometimes put him over the edge. Sometimes it may cause Finn to act without reason and fight without thinking straight. He also sometimes tends to ignore other major problems because his mind is way too focused on a battle or adventure.
Jake on the other hand is very very lazy. Jake is so lazy that he would rather lay down and forget than get up and move forward. Sometimes he'd genuinely rather lay down and accept doom than actually try to fix it, or he'd just let Finn deal with his biz. He's also very weak minded, as he's been fooled by many tricks and has forgotten things told to him in a matter of seconds. It should also be mentioned, Jake does have a limit to how far he can stretch, if he stretches his body too far then not only will it be difficult to continue, he could possibly die.
As for their weaknesses as a team, they tend to be extremely naive and can't understand solutions to certain problems, they even tend to go over the top sometimes. Also when it comes to certain tactics and strategies they could use, they tend to be childish about their approach and won't use their full potential. Why? Because Finn and Jake are very Immature and usually goof off with their options unless it's a serious situation.
Mordecai and Rigby
Mordecai and Rigby are crazy awesome at what they can accomplish, but they have VERY blatant weaknesses. Mordecai is a lot more competent than Rigby but he can be very moronic, he tends to act on impulses because he wants to be the reasonable one, the smart one. He even tends to be very panicked and awkward, he can't act instantly and it may cause him to jump to something else because it's the first thing he can think of in his mind.
Rigby on the other hand, yeah uhh..I think we all know where we're going with this. Right is a lot less competent generally and he will sometimes make selfish decisions that benefit him, and he can be very very petty about his decisions. And yes he did improve on his flaws, even after that he would still be immature and act very lazy. Sometimes Rigby even tends to try and take the easier route without thinking about it, and will also think impulsively. Finally Rigby is just, physically not the best..he's physically out of shape, weaker than basically everyone around him, and has to take more physical punishment than everyone else..
As for their weaknesses as a team, they're incredibly stupid. Not stupid in battle but in a general sense, they're very very stupid, lazy, and ignorant. They would rather destroy the entire city, erase someone from existence, raise the dead, fight demons, get trapped in a video game, destroy the fucking planet, or straight up blow something up instead of going for the obvious solution. They also just mess up any easy task they get assigned to…
Before the verdict
The Adventure Time Cosmology
Alright let's get this thing started, so the Adventure Time Cosmology is very interesting to say the least. There are many kingdoms in Ooo, the Candy Kingdom, the Slime Kingdom, the Fire Kingdom, the Ice Kingdom, the Desert Kingdom, the…ok yeah there's just a lot of kingdoms. But there's also many worlds in Adventure Time, there's the dreaded Nightosphere which is an entire dimension filled with demons, Lumpy Space which is actually another dimension filled with a buncha stars and junk, and of course there's the multiple deadworlds that death himself can command over. We'll go more into that stuff later but it does seem that the actual universe of Adventure contains several different worlds inside of it, usually seen as entirely different dimensions. Hell, even smaller Universes have been made inside the world of Ooo which have their own laws and systems (remember the silly string?) Even the 4th dimension exists inside of their universe seeing as it only focuses on alternate possible futures rather entirely separate universes in the Multiverse. So why does this matter? In the end Finn and Jake are just tiny peas in a Multiversal pod…they shouldn't really scale to anything to because they're relatively weaker in terms of Adventure Time tiers…
No that's not quite true! I've got one word for you….Prismo. Now you may know from the pookies who made the Lapis vs Flame Princess blog (if you didn't read it go read it NOW!) That Prismo made the world of Fionna and Cake, and does contain many similar worlds to Finn and Jakes universe. To some people it may seem like exempting certain worlds from a different Cosmology since Prismo did say he unintentionally made something similar to Finn and Jake, but regardless it would bring up some neat scaling. But what about the dead worlds? The 4th dimension? Can those be accounted for? Well.. possibly…we generally don't know how much was added into the Fionna and Cake world considering it's relatively more limited than most other universes at the start of its creation. But there's actually another way to scale Prismo to such worlds and make it completely blatant. Remember when the Lich wished to destroy all life? Well the wish made it so Prismo would create an exact copy of Finn and Jakes world in its present state, and then killed EVERYONE off. Prismo straight copy and pastes the Adventure Time universe and kills everyone off inside of it, this would definitely warrant some necessary scaling and Cosmology junk.
But how come Finn and Jake scale to Prismo? Isn't there no reason for them to scale considering they're cosmologically weaker? Well that's not the case, first of all…Prismo is a product of Jake's dreams and imagination.
“WHAT!!?!"
Yeah I can hear some of you say that right this moment. You see Prismo as an entity comes from the dreams of a very old man having a nice nap, if you kill the dreamer then you kill the dream..that doesn't apply to AP but we'll talk about that later. Nonetheless, to bring Prismo back, Jack had to get another version of himself from a different time to fall asleep and then dream up Prismo. But what happens next, is Jake BECOMES the old man that originally dreamt up Prismo. Considering the fact this entire episode dealt with time loops and stuff, this definitely means that this is a loop where a different version of Jake becomes the old man and will always dream up Prismo. So yes, Prismo as a being comes from Jake's cosmic imagination…awesome. Another way to easily scale them to Prismo is…Scarab. Scarab is seen as Prismos superior in terms of ranking and he was the one who overpowered and imprisoned Prismo for punishment. Scaling to Scarab is easy, Simon states that the Ice King could defeat Scarab (and he technically did) and many people in the series have evenly fought with him, especially Fionna. So we got a bunch of proof for Prismo scaling and how powerful of a being he is. Thanks to the AT universe having multiple dimensions, multiple worlds, and even a 4th dimension, this would make Finn and Jake Low Multiversal.
But wait, wouldn't this make Finn and Jake Multiversal? I mean Prismo has made thousands of Universes in the Multiverse due to wishes, they should scale to that. Well it's very much overtime, he doesn't just create thousands of Universes all at once, he creates a universe one at a time..that wouldn't correlate to Multi that much; although it's more proof for Low Multi scaling regardless so bleh…Low Multi Finn and Jake wooooooo!
String Theory?
Strings…strings…strings….what are strings but a cataclysm of our universe in a higher dimensional form…they're also very fun to play with! There is a certain something that has been brought up many times when it comes to Adventure Time scaling and how the Cosmology works. But what is String Theory? Basically, what if all matter and energy is made up of strings and cosmic quarks. What if all of reality is made up of metaphysical “strings." When it comes to string theory, it is said that the subatomic particles..or " strings” that make up our universe are created within ten spatial dimensions (plus an eleventh dimension of "time") It's a basic explanation for why the universe has fundamental levels and laws, every component in reality is made up of strings. Basically if a Cosmology or Multiverse uses this concept, it would automatically make that Cosmology 11th Dimensional…or 11D for VS terms.
Now String Theory as a concept has been referenced a couple of times in Adventure Time. Peebs comments on her experiment on “Silly String Theory” and Cinnamon Bun gets sucked into String Theory where the others gotta pull him out which makes a black hole. So it seems like since we have a way to scale to the basic Cosmology (we'll talk about that later) and the concept of String Theory exists in Adventure Time, then that means scaling Finn and Jake to 11D should be fine and dandy.
In the great words of Wiz, “context matters" and with context, String Theory would not work. For " Silly String” theory, it doesn't actually work in the same way as real String Theory. It's just strands of gum that are stated to be a cosmic force in the Candy Kingdom, which would be a massive downgrade as it only affects the Candy Kingdom. Yes they can create tiny universes, but that's not really enough to justify it being part of the Cosmology considering Bonnie never comments on it being part of their world, just the Candy Kingdom, plus she never further expands on the idea of it. As for Cinnamon Bun getting lost into Strings Theory, it is specifically noted that it's not actually String Theory….he physically got lost in actual strings. While Bubblegum says she “gets lost in String Theory" and we can probably trust her word, but she only looked into the theory of this concept, it doesn't mean it's an actual part of the Cosmology. Not to mention, I wouldn't trust what she says about the AT world, she directly says she doesn't believe in the concept of Cosmic Imagination and it's impact on the world. She doesn't believe magic is the reason the world the way it is, so I wouldn't trust her take on the Cosmology.
Another basic theme is that string theory is just played as a joke throughout all this lol, the concept is never covered thoroughly and only played off as a gag. So yeah basically, String Theory can't be applied to the Cosmology and if you use it you're a silly billy..
Infinite Timelines
The Multiverse, it's very very big, and I mean very very big…but how big is it? Well as supported by many consistent statements in the series, the Multiverse is effectively infinite. The Multiverse and time as a concept basically works as a constantly branching Cosmology, these branches have already existed but it's ever so expanding. There's an infinite amount of branches expanding into infinite space and an infinite number of trains, infinity infinity infinity! The Cosmology has many infinites added to it, There's infinite universes with infinite timelines surrounded by infinite space..
Every choice ever made in their universe has created a new reality, spawning infinite timelines..
basically this is a Multiversal+ Cosmology that can get decently high…
If you can scale to it hehe
Time Room?
Alright this is a pretty big thing to discuss, this is a very big argument when it comes to Adventure Time scaling and having certain characters be Multiversal+ because of the cosmic implications. So first of all, the Time Room is the center of the Multiverse and vector of time itself. The Time Room contains Prismo the Wishmaster, a being who can create many universes in the Multiverse. The Time Room also contains many mini space prisms and even guardians of time, these guardians can spread time as a concept throughout the Multiverse thanks to their constant clashes. The basic argument is that since they're part of the Time Room then the Time Room should be Multiversal+ in nature. There's however one problem to this, we don't really know if it's actually PART of the Time Room. With the way it's displayed, it's more so a display of the time guardians from afar, showcasing they're off somewhere else creating Shockwaves. Why are the Shockwaves present in the time room? It's definitely supposed to represent how powerful the clashes are, not showing them actually being in the Time Room. So yeah I doubt affecting the Time Room would actually affect the Time Guardians (if they're even alive still)
But why is this even important in the first place? Because there's an argument that the destruction of the Time Room would destroy the Multiverse. This is because whenever a Catalyst Comet woke up a dreamer of their world, another Catalyst Comet came for the Time Room and destroyed the entire Multiverse. This was just a story told but it was apparently going to happen to our Time Room and would destroy the Multiverse. Since beings like Orgalorg could absorb the Catalyst Comet that means they should scale to its power, and since Finn scales to Orgalorg that means they should scale to Multiversal+ forces. But once again, there's a problem with this. The Multiverse wouldn't reset because of the destruction of the time room, it would reset because of the destruction of the watchers (the Enchiridion and the Reader.) You see the watchers are the ones who watch the Multiverse, without anyone being able to watch reality, then reality would be destroyed. This is because Cosmic Imagination is run by actual imagination, it's like if you imagine your own world inside your head. If there's no one alive to think and imagine, then cosmic imagination can't exist. This doesn't actually translate to AP, it translates to cause and effect. Killing the watchers would cause the Multiverse to cease to exist, it doesn't actually destroy the Multiverse. Even killing them doesn't translate to AP, because they're not connected to cosmic imagination as entities, the reader is basically a normal person with a special purpose. If I killed someone who dreamed up a universe in their head, that doesn't make me Universal. So yeah, this shouldn't really be a factor for Cosmology scaling and wouldn't work regardless..
Death Scaling (does it work)
TLDR' no. Finn and Jake should NOT scale to the Deaths. Now Deaths in this world are very powerful, they can casually destroy any dead world inside the afterlife and even restore them. This is impressive because there's even a deadworld that's infinite in size. But there's just no way to truly scale them to Death, Finn and Jake were unable to harm or touch him in the slightest. They're just constantly superior to Finn and Jake and cannot be defeated by them. The only time Finn and Jake could even remotely harm them is when they were gifted the kiss of Life, a weapon made by life specifically made to kill and harm beings such as death, they were unable to do so before. So yeah, scaling to death just doesn't make any real sense..
Then there's the undertakers that could destroy deadworlds one by one…you can see the problem already..they destroy them one by one. I should also mention that not all Deadworlds in Adventure Time are infinite, only one of them was stated to be infinite, some of them are blatantly limited in size. They somewhat scale to the deadworlds regardless as I mentioned before, but this is a pretty big argument for Finn and Jake brought up regardless and they're just not true..
Hilbert Space
Who the fuck is Hilbert. Hilbert Space as a concept is a very powerful way to make your verse automatically overpowered. Hilbert Space is basically a cosmic vector space with a vertex that is used to describe most quantum states. It's very complex in how it can affect cosmologies, some may state it as an finite dimensional analog of euclidean space….when your world has Hilbert Space as a concept, then it's practically Multi+ - 5D or higher depending on how the Cosmology works since there's multiple vector spaces. This is being discussed because Peppermint Butler discusses the fact the Multiverse is created by a collapsible wave function in Hilbert Space. Hilbert Space is basically an outside cosmic force that constantly creates more and more branches of time, which would have some very neat cosmic implications for the Cosmology.
However this does have some issues, the way the Cosmology can be scaled would not actually affect Hilbert Space. Like I said before, Hilbert Space is an outside cosmic force not affected by the destruction of the Multiverse. Hell it's even mentioned in the Enchiridion that the destruction of the Multiverse wouldn't destroy it completely, it would eventually be remade. So not even Cosmic Imagination would scale to the concept of Hilbert Space as it would only affect a cosmic force that would come back regardless thanks to said outside force. Even when Cosmic Imagination resets everything, it would only affect the Multiverse and not anything else so Hilbert Space is unfortunately just…unscalable..
Cosmic Imagination
Cosmic Imagination is the source of everything in the Adventure Time Cosmology, the source of time, life, death, reality, and magic as a concept. All magic that can be accessed in the Adventure Time world is directly connected to Cosmic Imagination, especially Wizardry. While it's not complete harnessing, it still allows the user to harness some very donked up potential. Cosmic Imagination is the foundation of everything in the universe as said before, and every being in the floods of reality shares the potential to harness just a fraction of its power. Everything in reality is mental, and our view of reality can change reality because that's how powerful the view of reality is. I already mentioned many of the abilities of Cosmic Imagination and what the many users of magic can unlock, seeing as Finn and Jake can become wizards they can also harness some cool powers Cosmic Imagination could offer..we already know all that. But what about harnessing all of Cosmic Imagination, fusing with its pure concept?
Whoever becomes fully connected the power of Cosmic Imagination could control all of reality, the Multiverse would be a playground to all and fate would be inbound. The Multiverse as mentioned before is infinite, infinite universes and infinite timelines constantly being created in Hilbert Space thanks to Cosmic Imagination. Cosmic Imagination also has power over the concept of time, and as mentioned before the time Shockwaves run throughout the entire Multiverse all at once. This would basically mean Cosmic Imagination as a concept and anyone who uses this powerful linchpin would be Multiversal+ level beings, with very powerful abilities that range all of reality at once. Why is this being mentioned? Because the Enchiridion can harness certain magical abilities from cosmic imagination, but it can also offer the great hero the power of Cosmic Imagination itself, fusing the hero to the ultimate power. This would mean if Finn and Jake choose to, they could amp themselves from the Enchiridion and access cosmic imagination itself.. making this a Multiversal+ amp from the Enchiridion. (This would only be accessible to Finn and Jake because only our heroes can access this power and the pages in general, anyone who isn't a hero won't be able to even read it.)
The Regular Show Cosmology
Now I already covered this in the Brody vs Muscle Man blog, you can go read this if you want something more in detail but I'll give a basic explanation. Basically the show itself is the Cosmology, the show as a concept is the universe disconnected from other universes as it's referenced as it's exactly that. The Cosmology is Regular Show, anything that happens in the show like holiday specials is part of the Cosmology as it's part of the show. Seeing as non canon stuff or things that shouldn't be part of their world are consistently part of their continuity and universe. The Cosmology contains many universes and sub dimensions, there are multiple worlds inside the universe, there's seperate planes of existence and dimensions devoid of time. It even contains planet Nielson, the planet that showcases every single universe as a channel, it's estimated as 6.8 Million channels/universes.
Even the idea of alternate timelines exists, there's a ton of different future timelines and alternate futures that exist thanks to the choices people make. Any choice made will create a new timeline as proven by the many timelines created by such. These futures can exist even when the past is changed, even people from alternate timelines can exist in one afterlife. There's even separate timelines from different worlds like “Earths Timeline" and can create multiple timelines based on one world. There's doors to all possible placements of time in the world (making the doors infinite considering it can access any point in time, and we know the concept of infinite possibilities exists in this world) and then the Internet is actually an entirely different world that's infinite in size, and contains all Internet videos (portrayed as their own worlds) throughout the entire Internet domain. (A Multi+ world inside an already Multi Cosmology is insane) The Cosmology is incredibly big and even contains a mall that contains a dimension that spawns infinite possibilities in a constantly resetting universe, which means Infinite timelines are constantly being made as a byproduct of the reset.
This would mean anything that can affect the Universe would be Multiversal+ level
What can affect what
So there's multiple beings in the Regular Show Cosmology that could destroy the universe. Mordecai and Rigby scale to the monster of infinity who could destroy reality itself and have power over it, the Lord of Destruction could destroy the entire dimension and destabilize the very space time continuum itself, and of course the Timenado which would erase entire timelines and the very concept of time. These powerful linchpins could affect the entire universe and certain aspects of it, but what can truly be affected?
Pops and Anti Pops could of course affect absolutely everything considering the fact that they could affect the show and aspects of it which would affect many other stuff we'll talk about later. Now stuff like the Theoretical Mall at its basis with the infinite possibilities can be affected by normal universal destruction because at the end of the episode, our reality had the same effect. And I'm pretty sure the story isn't even fake in the first place cuz firstly there would be no reason for Rigby to come up with something so convoluted, and it's already referenced in flashbacks like other stories. The Timenado can affect the very concept of time so it's reasonable to scale to the theoretical mall at its basis which includes other universe ending threats. (Mostly the timenado since the effects of the mall run by time, the Timenado was destroying the concept of time)
The Timenado
Head for the bunkers, head under the tables, a tornado is coming to the area. It's actually no normal Tornado, this is the dreaded Timenado. The Timenado has the power to affect all of time and space, it would threaten the very concept of time and destroy our very universe. This wouldn't be the first time Mordecai and Rigby have dealt with the Timenado, but it would definitely be the most dangerous encounter with the cosmic phenomenon. It would erase all of earths timeline and its very concept, and was capable of warping through entire moving timelines all at once. I mean when you can casually erase entire centuries in minutes then you know they're facing something very powerful…but how do Mordecai and Rigby scale to it?
Remember when the Timenado was sucking in earth's entire timeline and warping it? Well in terms of speed, the Park crew while piloting their space ships were somehow constantly dodging and reacting to moving timelines that were in tandem with the Timenado. Another neat fact is that the powerful object called the Time Crystal is what completely powers the timenado, it is what makes it so powerful. Rigby literally survived being zapped by the Time Crystal at its very core, and hopped back up fine. Mordecai and Rigby's past selves also survived the creation of the Timenado, sure it didn't seem big but they still withstood the energy and power it took to create the Time Crystal, while this wouldn't fully translate to AP, this would be a hax resistance as they resisted the energy made to spawn the time crystal. Also yeah uh, Rigby can literally use the Time Crystal offensively for battle, and can attack things with it and just absorb it…so Timenado scaling should be fine.
Dimensional Tiering (revaluation)
Ohhh boy Dimensional Tiering..let's talk about. Instead of revealing the big stuff at the end, I'll just reveal it right now. Mordecai and Rigby do not scale to the 5D stuff, but Pops and Anti-Pops do. Now the 5D stuff comes from the Theoretical mall that can access different dimensions. The mall is dimensionally numbered and it contains spatial dimensions due to the fact that lower dimensions are flat and inconceivable. Then it’s normally inaccessible to normal dudes as it needs a ‘theoretical’ passage to enter and access by cosmic beings, also supposed by the fact Regular Show contains separate planes of existence. The 5th dimension in question has the ability to create infinite possibilities based on any possible choice made by you, and it eventually spreads its effect to the normal dimension. So how do Pops and Anti-Pops scale to this? Well as I mentioned before, anything that's part of the show is part of the Cosmology, as the show itself is the Cosmology. The 5D mall in concept is part of the show and would be affected by the universal reset. How? Because Pops and Anti-Pops legitimately reset the entire show back to its first episode and core (and the actual title card.) And many of their side effects were able to affect the Cosmology of the show itself, such as storyboards and even pilots of the show. Since they reset the Cosmology and show itself, they would be affecting the Theoretical Mall and its dimensions.
But how come Mordecai and Rigby don't scale? Because in terms of what they perceive and destroy, it's not affecting the actual show, just aspects of their universe. While mass destruction from cosmic linchpins like the Timenado, Monster of Infinity and the Lord of Destruction have never been noted to destroy anything beyond their full potential. Only Pops and Anti-Pops were noted to have the power to affect EVERYTHING, the Theoretical Mall and its 5D concept wouldn't be affected by normal universal destruction because the 5 Dimensional aspect of the mall didn't affect the universe, only the weird effects of it. So basically only the Pops and Anti-Pops reset would affect the 5 Dimensional aspect of the Cosmology because of how much more destructive it is, Mordecai and Rigby wouldn't really scale to this unfortunately as it'd also be a massive outlier..(Mordecai and Rigby being on the same level as Anti Pops? Nah..) People stronger than Mordecai and Rigby like Muscle Man were seen as completely helpless to Anti Pop's power, so it's very unlikely that they'd scale to this regardless..
What about the 6D stuff? Well to keep it short, it's not really viable. It's less likely Pops and Anti Pops affected stuff OUTSIDE of the show, and most likely that they affected the concept of the show itself. Remember, one of the actual pilots for the show was getting erased thanks to their power unravelling reality. The punch reset the show to the first episode and actually changed things about it, they fucked with the storyboard, they fucked with the intro, they were destroying the concept of the show and “Regular Show" would end…it's very meta yes, the whole season is. The show ending was very literal as the end of their world…so yeah they didn't affect anything outside of the show, just the very show itself, so 6D isn't valid anymore…
How did Mordecai and Rigby survive?
That's a good question, how the fuck did Mordecai and Rigby survive. I'm referring to the fact Mordecai and Rigby stop the punch that would've reset everything, like they actually stop it and the present is still going like nothing happened, yet they get sent back to the very beginning. How did they survive? How did they instantly regain their memory? How did they just constantly resist all of reality unravelling in front of them? Literally how are they alive.. it's actually impossible. The universe is constantly fated to reset, it's literally fate for everything to end the same way, it's been that way for billions of years throughout billions of universal resets. How did Mordecai and Rigby literally deny fate itself??
I have a simple answer for you..
They're the main characters.
Yeah, that's the explanation, they're the main characters. They got insanely lucky just to survive the punch, like immensely lucky. They were a glitch and time and only they were sent back so they remembered everything, because they got very very lucky. They didn't necessarily defy fate as they always tried something different to change the outcome, they just simply got lucky this time and survived, whereas they die in every other reset. Pops is the one who really changed everything, because he chose to end the conflict with love instead of violence, he's the one who changed the outcome of the universe. But how did they resist the fabric of reality unravelling? Eh, it's most likely just a resistance to reality warping, transmutation and minor plot erasure as the fabric of reality was erasing stuff from the concept of the show like pilots.
Quick Mention: in the Villainous: Villain Orientation Guide, it gives a more in depth reason to why Mordecai and Rigby survived. Basically, since they were at the center of the explosion, it would somehow cause them to be immune to the effects of the universal reset and would regain their memories. Basically going back to, yeah they just got insanely lucky for surviving. Why am I showing off something from Villainous? Cuz Alan actually worked with Quintel on this, so it's possibly a canonical explanation for it.

Verdict
Ohh boy we have a LOT to talk about when it comes to these two. Just wanna say to anyone who made it this far in the blog, thank you for reading and I appreciate you for appreciating the hard work done for this blog! This has taken a bit long but I'm proud of the result and the people who helped me through this! Those dudes are the goats! But enough Chit Chat…it's time for the moment you all have been waiting for…Adventure Time vs Regular Show…Cartoon Network vs Cartoon Network…Ultimate heroes vs Ultimate slackers..who will win the ultimate duo battle between Finn and Jake vs Mordecai and Rigby?? Grab some grilled cheese and bacon pancakes.. because it's Showtime.
Experience/Skill
This category turned out to be trickier than I expected. Finn and Jake may appear more impressive at first glance. After all, they spend their time kicking evil’s butt and saving Ooo on a regular basis. But Mordecai and Rigby do pretty similar things…. These two also find themselves in crazy situations that require quick thinking and a good dose of skill..and I really mean a good dose of that stuff... They keep the park safe from destruction almost daily, whether it’s fighting a crazy demon or staring down a giant eyeball. It generally seems like both pairs of characters have their unique strengths when it comes to this category to where we can't do a quick pick. To figure this out, we can’t just give a simple answer. We need to break it down into smaller categories and analyze their skills and get the specifics down…so let's get to it!!
Fighting Skill
Finn and Jake are very good at hand to hand combat. They've ranged from cheap tricks, acrobatics, martial arts and wrestling, boxing you name it! These dudes always know how to throw it down and fight even the most experienced of baddies, they were able to take down the Lich; an evil dude who's been fighting off good for hundreds of years. These guys have used sweet combat skills to fight bad dudes basically their whole life, and they've trained under people before. Hell they sometimes train against each other and are considered evenly matched in combat terms…
Mordecai and Rigby have also been shown various degrees of combat skill, and they're impressive too. They've been taught many many moves and techniques thanks to Death Kwon Do and they have greatly used them in battle. They've had skips teach them some really neat tricks and counters, and Skips is incredibly experienced in combat and strategy. Even while being Death Kwon Do rookies, they were able to battle and defeat a Death Kwon Do master, a high ranked martial artist. They've participated in many fights in their life, and they've been shown to kick a lot of ass.
So who's a better fighter? Well Finn and Jake are generally more competent fighters seeing as they fight monsters way way bigger than them constantly, while Mordecai and Rigby are a lot more skilled in combat from their experience with insanely skilled individuals and Death Kwon Do aiding them. The Ice Ninja techniques could possibly help in this debate but ultimately they lost to a much more experienced Ice King, while Mordecai and Rigby actually defeated a hundreds years old Death Kwon Do master. Both have lots of interesting points for this category and it's hard to generally choose who'd win so I'ma give this category a STALEMATE.
Intelligence
This may seem like an easy category to go over, Mordecai and Rigby are stupid while Finn and Jake get the job done way more. While technically, Mordecai and Rigby would generally have way more knowledge on junk, Finn and Jake use that stuff more. Mordecai and Rigby aren't idiots when it comes to battle, but Finn and Jake just generally know way more battle tactics and come up with way more plans than Mordecai and Rigby.
Sure Mordo has outsmarted smart people before, but it was just straightforward logic, not necessarily gonna helpful in the fight. Plus Finn and Jake, while also pretty stupid in their own right, are way more knowledgeable on the stuff they use rather than just doing whatever works.. sometimes. Plus Finn alone has a very vast amount of knowledge thanks to the Enchiridion, and he generally knows how to solve a problem way quicker and even see through the illusions of a very hard situation. This category goes to FINN AND JAKE.
Endurance
This category isn't too complicated. Both of these guys have definitely gone through a lot of ass whoopings, burns, vaporizations, battle damage and have done the worst of the worst. Finn seems to enjoy pain but that doesn't mean it'll make him get up automatically, it just means the ass whooping is gonna be an awesome experience. Both have been beaten almost to death, and have kept going after an insane amount of damage. So who wins? Well infinite HP just kinda cheats this category….so…this category goes to MORDECAI AND RIGBY.
Experience
Both are very experienced in their own way. Both have been fighting and going through crazy stuff their whole life, even when they were toddlers. Mordecai and Rigby are generally older than them and have more experience right now but Finn does grow to be an old man and still save people. Although Jake dies pretty early on in Finn’s life. Mordecai do have lots of experience as they have worked at the park for 10 years, became space cadets for 3, lived a rad dad life for 25 years then participated in a 25 year long war. Both of these guys are very experienced as Finn has longer experience while Mordecai and Rigby have better experience from their years. Currently Mordecai and Rigby would be more experienced but Finn and Jake would also be similar in battle experience. It's safe to say this category should be a STALEMATE.
Teamwork
Now when it comes to teamwork both have their highs and lows. Finn can be impulsive and try making Jake do something because he's pumped up, while Jake would usually not care or be too lazy to do anything. Mordecai and Rigby on the other hand can be very demanding and aggravated towards each other and tend to go after each other. Both have absolutely had their fare share amounts of fights then get over it later. Even with these lows both still have really good highs. Both can basically defeat any evil dude by working together, they've accomplish many hard working tasks, went through obstacles and even went through the most dangerous of magical dungeons and dimwits. Finn and Jake have worked together many times to solve puzzles and go through journeys, while Mordecai and Rigby are great at solving certain problems with out of the box skills and being unpredictable in tactics. We can't entirely call them out for their lows because their highs are exceptionally matched. Because of that, this category is a STALEMATE.
So most of these categories are things both duos can match, Finn and Jake are generally smarter than Mordecai and Rigby as they have shown way more competence in that regard seeing as they have access to a mind melter like the Enchiridion, while Mordecai and Rigby just kinda cheat endurance with Infinite Health Points so they can fight for as long as possible. These dudes have been through a LOT so it makes sense on why this isn't an easy category to discuss. Most people would immediately expect Finn and Jake to win this, which does make sense..but these guys are very even in lots of ways. This Category is overall a STALEMATE.
Arsenal/Equipment
This is probably the most complicated category, both basically get a bunch of new weapons every single season, a lot of them are immensely powerful and have the most busted ass abilities. While a lot of them are one off, a good amount of weapons can be used to summon more weapons and way more offensive support.
Finn has an absolute shit ton of swords like the Scarlet Sword, the Tree Root sword, the Demon Blood Sword, the Sword of Lighteousness, the Grass Sword which can interact with non physical entities and constantly spawn with Finn, the Finn sword, the small sword, the Night Sword which can cut spirits, the Aromatherapy Sword which can make you not want to fight, the Sword of the Dead, the Lightning Sword, the Ice Sword and the cosmic 4D sword which is 4-Dimensional in nature. He also has access to Cyclops tears which can heal all damage, Guardian Sap which can regenerate all injuries, he has glasses that make you a genius, has an amulet that gives him the powers of Hunson Abadeer, and he has the Ancient Enchiridion; a book that can harness all wizard magic that can change its properties and make it almost impossible to read unless a hero reads the hero section, can make portals to all universes in the Multiverse, can travel through time, and it could harness Cosmic Imagination in order to reset the Multiverse. Jake has uhh, some swords, some cool armor, a legendary sandwich and some of his dad's artifacts. Both of them have a magical hat that can make wishes, a magic crystal that can open a portal to the crystal dimension, an ice spell that harnesses magic, some dream dust that allows you to enter dreams, a dream harp that could show people's dreams, a potion that could paralyze you, a time particle pepper that could send you back in time and let you be stuck in time, jewels that protect them from mind control, nightmare juice that instantly puts you inside the dream world, have a Porcelain Llama that can seal souls inside the spirit realm, the Maid which can eliminate Interdimensional beings, can escape to Prismos Time Room with his note, has a computer virus that could glitch reality and delete the planet, a thought cannon which could make any thought become reality, their mom's note which can make your opponent hold still, a time machine, and Primordial Ooze which can erase beings from all of existence and all remnants of said beings.
Jesus Christ….
Mordecai and Rigby on the other hand basically get something new every single episode, so we'll talk about the important stuff. Mordecai has microwaved clocks that can travel to the end of time, a super cool ring that can shoot lasers and detonate, death’s motorcycle which can travel through the underworld and the mortal world, and he has cosmic shades that can fight comic beings. Rigby is also incredibly versatile, he has Play-Co Armboy which instantly makes him stronger than anyone in arm wrestling, a stopwatch that can slow down time, and a bunch of cool space swords like a laser sword, a singularity sword and an atomic katana. Both of them have a hot tub that can transport to a water world, the Power which can basically do absolutely anything Mordecai and Rigby wants by playing it, a cooler that can take them back to the park, Prank Calling Phones that can send you or specific items back in time, the Book of Park Records which can basically manipulate fate and causality, planet chasers starlight excellent which sucks out all of your memories, summertime lovin’ which is an annoying physical manifestation of music, Brain Max which can automatically make you a genius, the Book of Darthon which can harness all spells from the board game, Benson’s house rules which can create rules in a world with no rules, fortunes cookies which will actually happen whether good or bad, a genie lamp which can fulfill wishes, a cell phone that can seal you inside of it, the powerful Fists of Justice that can pack real punches, double glazed apple fritters that make you faster than time itself, a time machine, a Christmas present that allows you to wish for anything no matter how terrible, the Death Sandwich which will kill you overtime, the Double Death Sandwich which will kill you instantly, the Sandwich of Life which nullifies the effects of the Death Sandwich, the Cool Cubed slushee which will freeze your brain, Dreamcatcher equipment which can absorb dreams from your mind, magic dice which can make a wish, a golden wishbone that can also make a wish (wow a lot of wish stuff..), 3-D glasses which can summon Regular Show Titans, the Universal Remote which can turn tech against the one who was in control of it, Ghost Toasters which could destroy spirits, sleeping darts which could automatically put you to sleep or automatically make you wake up, a Multiversal remote which can change your universal biology to an entirely different universe, console war weapons which could summon videogame characters and has layered Transmutation (it could continuously make your pixelation lower and lower, and it's harder to get out of each time.) a Time Loop orb which can trap you in a time loop, and a bunch of cool power ups that give them added support.
Holy shittt..
Now accounting absolutely EVERYTHING, things get a little abstract. Both have BFR options, can harm spirits, have Transmutation, have many ways to kill you in multiple ways, can travel through time, have a bunch of offensive weapons and defensive weapons, have incredibly large AOE, and have many ways to summon stuff and create things from their mind. They have way too many options and can match each other in many ways. The amulet would let Finn absorb Mordecai and Rigby's souls, they can basically heal all their injuries, could Incap Mordecai and Rigby by trapping them in the middle of time travel so they're unable to do much, can seal their souls inside the spirit realm, and the Primordial Ooze would stop their infinite lives as there would be no remnant left of them. Prank call phones could banish basically all weapons Finn and Jake have, can instantly become greater in speed with double glazed apple fritters, can use the Multiversal remote to Incap, have layered Transmutation, could dura neg and insta kill with the double death sandwich, can absorb Jakes dreams and imagination and could trap Finn and Jake in a time loop. Mordecai and Rigby do generally have more weapons and more ways to make it so Finn and Jake won't be able to use their wincons as they could just send all of their weapons back in time all at once so they couldn't wish for anything back, meanwhile Finn and Jake don't really have a way of doing that. Even destroying the Power wouldn't work since Mordecai and Rigby could still summon items that were destroyed, Finn and Jake don't have that same recovery. Finn and Jake get all their weapons and summon from their wishing and summoning weapons and cosmic imagination granted by the Enchiridion, but if all of that is gone then Finn and Jake can't really do as much to defend themselves. Yes the Enchiridion can act on its own but it doesn't intervene unless it's a cosmic catastrophe, otherwise it would've just stopped the Lich from accessing the time room. And like I said before the Dreamcatchers are actually a very good counter to imagination as your dreams and thoughts are what help you access this, if Jake loses that then he can't access his imagination, same with Finn. Both absolutely have a ton of shit to talk about but only Mordecai and Rigby can really counter mostly everything Finn and Jake has and have ways to get everything back, this category goes to MORDECAI AND RIGBY.
Support/Backup
As you've seen, both have tons of support added to them. They can summon lots of people to aid them, get some friends to help in battle, and of course summon their own war cavalries. So let's discuss who has the better support..
Finn and Jake have access to the Finn and Jake clones, the Finn and Jake sand and glass army, BMO and the Ancient Psychic Tandem War Elephant. The Finn and Jake armies offer lots of ways to distract or create a new threat so they have enough time to come up with a new plan or do a secret attack. BMO is great for transporting Mordecai and Rigby to the videogame realm or aiding Finn and Jake with a bunch of MO units and even become a gigantic battle mech. And finally the Ancient Psychic Tandem War Elephant is great for mobility as he can shoot lasers multiple sides at once and can shoot larger lasers too. Finn and Jake have some neat backup for the fight..
Mordecai and Rigby can summon Lemonhead who can shoot lemons, and the Destroyer of Worlds who will spread flames across the land. They can also summon the musical avatars that can destroy music avatars that represent music, can access a ton of videogame characters like the Hammer who can't be harmed unless it's with furniture, an entire army of soldier dudes with blasters, a Sonic the Hedgehog rip-off, and the Ice Cuzzo’s. Most importantly, Mordecai and Rigby have access to the infamous Baby Ducks. These baby ducks can transform into a giant form, become Mecha forms once people morph with them and gain access to awesome powers and really cool weapons..
Both have tons of resources and backup at their disposal, they have access to whole armies although Mordecai and Rigbys are way more varied with all the videogame characters they can summon. (Also what are the ice and sand Finn doing against laser guns that can transmute you??) BMO and and Tandem War Elephant are very good aid and are definitely more efficient than Lemonhead or the Destroyer of Worlds. But the Babyducks should wipe the floor with them, they have way too many evolutionary modes, powers, weapons, and they absolutely have the AOE advantage seeing as town level damage is the least they can do. And they straight fight the moon and cut through Jupiter, the Babyducks absolutely help Mordecai and Rigby win this category..but we're not done yet, let's move onto their friends.
Finn and Jake have access to many powerful friendos and some decently powerful indecent people. Finn and Jake can summon the Ice King, a powerful ice wizard who can manipulate snow and all in all forms, trap you in his imagination zone, see spirits and portals with his wizard eyes, and just straight up freeze you in a block of ice. Lumpy Space Princess…
Princess Bubblegum definitely has a LOT to offer, as she could transmute you with multiple guns, has lots of potent artillery and weapons, and she is mega smart and can instantly make a new solution to a problem she probably created. Her pure gum form WOULD be impressive but it's non standard and required her to be mind controlled, but she still has some neat candy powers. They can also summon Marceline and Hunson Abadeer. They have pretty similar powers of soul sucking, making fire, and being Omega powerful and all that. Hunson can seal you inside objects, control all elements of the Nightosphere, and even sense your spirit. Marcy can become invisible, shapeshift into whatever she wants, mind control people and of course such your blood..bleh bleh bleh
Mordecai and Rigby can summon all their allies and park bros if they ever wanted to, and they tend to fight together basically all the time. They can summon Benson, who can access the power of Death Kwon Do, can become a fiery nuke that radiates heat and anger all around him, and has the infamous Orderliness form which would make Mordecai and Rigby way more proficient but also destroy the concept of chaos itself. They can summon Skips, a yeti over hundreds of years old who's known for his wisdom, genius, and absolute skill in battle. He can reverse time with a watch and has precognition, astral forms, the fists of Justice, and is effectively immortal. You know who else can be summoned by Mordecai and Rigby??? Muscle Man and Fives are the class A jokesters but have a lot going for them. Fives can become a shield for Muscle Man and can interact with the real world, while Muscle Man has access to a bunch of pranking supplies, the videogame weapons, a vaporization space gun and can make a mosh pit; a pit where everyone is almost mind controlled and become much more roudy thanks to Muscle Man as they become a hive mind. They can also summon Pops……….need I say more….
So.. Mordecai and Rigby just kind of…win this. No it's not because of the fact Benson casually has conceptual destruction which nobody on the AT side resist, and nobody can really resist Muscle Man's mosh pit and Skips just casually has time rewind and precognition. Yeah those are all very very very big factors. It's not too bad tho, nobody on the Regular Show side can resist their soul being absorbed by Marcy or Hunson….well…technically yeah but thanks to the whole “body giving up on you" thing, that means they their body can survive within a soul and can just choose to get their conscience back, or they could just possess something in the meantime. Bubblegum has a lot of useful gadgets and is incredibly smart but so is Skips, and he's way more impressive in combat skill. Ice King could perhaps take them to his imagination zone but most of the dudes on the RS side could resist that. And finally……yeah Pops just fucking annihilates all of Finn and Jakes support and Finn and Jake themselves. He's not only immensely versatile and could Incap in a multitude of ways, he's actually 5D. Sure Mordecai and Rigby don't scale to that stuff, but they can summon a guy who does..this Category goes to MORDECAI AND RIGBY.
Abilities/Powers
Both Finn and Jake and Mordecai and Rigby have a very large amount of one off abilities and haxes that are..well.. immensely busted and are ond offs for a reason. But no no no, they're not one offs here, they're all gonna be used and they're all gonna be awesome to see against each other. But who's abilities and powers are more awesome than the other? Let's find out..
Finn has access to telepathy where he could communicate with people with his mind, has a cheat code combo that could erase you from existence, has a Telepathic arm that could become a more powerful appendage than before, can make a portal to the Nightosphere and banish people there, has hermit eyes that can change the appearance of people based on how he imagines them, has powerful telekinesis, has astral projection, and is the incarnation of the Catalyst Comet so he's always destined to reincarnate after he dies. Jake on the other hand is a living ability, he could stretch to any absolute length possible even to a planetary length, can become small, can duplicate himself many times, can enter bodies so he could control them, can regenerate holes in his body, and can even grow wings to fly! They can stop time by fulfilling a royal promise although circumstantial, has a bunch of Wizard Magic and could transform their bodies control some elements and do a bunch of other cool stuff or reflect magic attacks, can make mini Soundwaves, can summon butterflies with astral powers, can make the reader turn the page, can make a portal to a dead world, can access a bunch of ice magic and ninja powers, have a bunch of super cool fighting moves, can do reverse quests and make it so everything in the world becomes the opposite of what it originally was, can access the universal source course and change the building blocks of the universe and erase stuff from it, can fight and incap ghosts, can imagine anything into reality and only gets negged if the imagination gets turned off, and finally they can access Cosmic Imagination; they could manipulate every single concept of the universe, can access all magic in the Adventure Time universe, can create new laws of existence, can manipulate matter and energy, can create portals to other dimensions, can reverse causality, and can basically do anything they absolutely want once the Enchiridion fuses them with this power. Unfortunately the only problem with this is Finn and Jake using the full potential of the Cosmic Imagination because they're childish and would use it in very childish ways loll
Mordecai and Rigby are also incredibly versatile in what they can do. Mordecai can eat a bunch of mints and other minty stuff and make it so his breath can create a giant winter storm and freeze stuff, he has laser eyes for some reason, and he has a Mordo blast and could create a very powerful strike. Rigby could create a Jinx monster that could corrupt whoever they attack and erase their memory, can create life and offspring by being so filthy, can summon large meteors, and can use Tech Kwon Do to do a blast attack. Both of them could use all powerful techniques of Death Kwon Do which come with a bunch of different powers and abilities that amplify their combat abilities, can fuck with the audit and cause binary code to destroy and erase everything surrounding them, can become dizzy and enter a dizzy world inside their own consciousness or enter someone else's consciousness, with Rock Paper Scissors they can create a large black hole, with solids can make people have to do what they say or else the world would be destroyed, can make a viral video and vanish people to the Internet, can basically fuck with all magic and reflect, nullify, copy, turn off and ignore all magic powers and change any magic property yourself with the Realm of Darthon, can somehow kill non physical entities with their hands, can create constructs by being obsessed with action movies, can Transmute people or physical erase people from existence with poetry, can shoot a vaporizing blast by rapping, can summon any item they want even if they're destroyed, can manipulate their age levels, access unlimited HP, have infinite ammo, turbo mode, unlimited lives, can bend space amd time and amp themselves and warp reality with Montages, can come back after being ghosts, can survive having holes in their bodies or have body parts taken off, can straight up take a second chance at life, can exit the comic panel and go back to a previous plotline a remove a certain plotline that happened, and have dimensional travel.
They both also have a ton of powerful forms, they're all very weird and crazy but they're also pretty cool. Jake can attach to Finn and make a Jake suit so Finn is much stronger, and Finn can become a Hug Wolf and try to hug you. Jake can turn into his true blue alien form and fly with wings, can access a party form that makes him party crazy, can become a giant Kaiju, and can get possessed by a cosmic being and warp reality. Both of them could become Lumpy Space people, become ghosts, become awesome dudes and access video game avatars. Mordecai can turn into a living jet that could shoot lasers, while Rigby could become a powerful Wereskunk, have his own video game avatar, can access a Kaiju tough guy form, and can become possessed by Nostalgia and warp reality. Both of them could become intangible ghosts, access basketball forms and zoom through space at top speeds, and they could fuse with each other and become way more powerful than before.
Now there is a LOT to talk about when it comes to this part of the debate, they have very different powers but can affect each other the same way. Both of them have a lot of resistances and could resist a good amount of haxes both have. For the things that can affect each other, Finn and Jake could use reverse quests to fuck with Mordecai and Rigby although it'd also affect Finn and Jake, they could just imagine anything into reality, can fuck with Causality, can create new universal laws, and could access the building blocks of the universe. Mordecai and Rigby could corrupt Finn and Jake, can fuck with all of Finn and Jakes magic with the Book of Darthon, have many ways of dura neg by just rapping, have unlimited lives, have great survivability and could come back from full on death just because, can come back after being ghosts, can exit the plot and mess with it, and can escape any BFR and sealing. Yeah as you can see Mordecai and Rigby have way more resistances and counters to stuff Finn and Jake can do. Finn and Jake with Cosmic Imagination could manipulate causality, reality, concepts and other junk. The Book of Park Records can also fuck with causality and fate, have many ways to fuck with reality, and can resist concept stuff via the Timebado survival. The Timenado survival could actually help them resist a lot of stuff, the Primordial Ooze would negate the infinite lives but it wouldn't kill Mordecai and Rigby because the Timenado has the same effect. Mordecai and Rigby are also generally way better at resisting damage, Finn and Jake don't really resist any kind of erasure and Jake is the only one who could regenerate like..holes in his body. The Infinite lives would generally still help a lot seeing as they'd get a chance to just dura neg Finn and Jake before anything. Both can become ghosts but only Mordecai and Rigby are capable of turning back without outside help, meanwhile Finn and Jake can't really turn back to normal after becoming ghosts. Even without Infinite Lives, Mordecai and Rigby could just come back from death by choosing to have a second chance at life. And finally, the Book of Darthon is exceptionally bullshit and would restrict and ignore lots of magic Finn and Jake have. They could straight up make them unable to access any of their powers or weapons, could deflect any attack or just stop any attack from happening, and the Immunity Sword could just ignore all of that regardless. Yeah both are absolutely powerful and incredibly haxxy, but only Mordecai and Rigby have enough counters and ways to negate what Finn and Jake have. Not to mention they have way better survivability and ways to come back after death. This category goes to MORDECAI AND RIGBY.
Scaling/Stats
The final category…maybe not the deciding category but still a very important one nonetheless…alright…let's do this..get some more popcorn and cheese crackers bros cuz we're reaching the final frontier of this verdict…the STAT DISCUSSION. To make this easier on us, we'll do a couple categories once more because a longer verdict is a better verdict!…
Strength
Finn and Jake have some pretty impressive strength to show off, this was pretty obvious tho considering the fact they punch people like….all the time…like all the time…they do it all the time. With magical powers, Finn could lift a small mountain out the way of an incoming asteroid, he could power up a device with pure young and energy and bod, enough power to flip the entire planet over its axis…he could also fight (and kill..) Fern, a dude who was literally made from the grass swords properties, and the same grass sword is capable of slicing the eater of worlds Orgalorg apart. Jake is even more impressive, he could a wizard that could create large meteors, he's capable of stretching so far he could cover the planet, he could kick the Lich's hand into deep space, battle Golb's monsters, and even throw his space dad into a nearby black hole while making his hand bigger than the planet.
Mordecai and Rigby are also very impressive in terms of strength and all that, seeing as they do manual labor and work constantly this probably seemed like the obvious answer. Mordecai could tackle a bear into a wall, use his basketball powers and created a giant nuke on the planet, and he was able to destroy planet basketball by just DUNKING. Rigby with Death Kwon Do was able to send Pops to the atmosphere, create a hit impact so big it made a giant beam of light and reached the earths core, and he was able make a bank shot so good that it banked around the whole world. Of course they did pull some stuff off together, like punching klorgbane across the Solar System, creating a large explosion in their maximized forms, and were going to arm wrestle some robot that defeated a Low Multiversal monster…awesome.
And considering durability = AP, we would include feats like Finn surviving the 4-D black hole exploding, both resisting the planet being bursted out of the Lich's bag, and surviving the explosion of the Vampire Kings essence which would “kaboom reality." Meanwhile for Mordecai and Rigby, they would survive an anti matter bomb that would've destroyed the city, survived crashing onto the planets surface and destroying almost everything on it, survived Loliland being destroyed, and survived the power of the Timenado at its core.
So who'd win this category? Well at worst, they both have similarly impressive feats. At worst they'd probably be around the Moon - Large Star range, again at worst. They can very much get higher than this with their most cosmic feats, like surviving the 4-D black hole and the Timenado core. While both feats get very very high, the Timenado core dura feat would definitely get higher because of reasons I'll state in a bit. Even removing that, nothing on Finn and Jakes side beats Mordecai and Rigby going up against those two robots fighting a Low Multi threat. This would basically be Low Multi vs Uni+ with just their own physical feats, but that's only it for now until we get to scaling. So in most scenarios regarding their own physical feats, this category goes to MORDECAI AND RIGBY.
Speed
Finn and Jake don't run from danger, then run straight towards it to kick butt, and they run pretty fast. Finn is able to react to asteroids while travelling all the way to mars, could constantly deflect attacks from magic users like Ice King, can basically battle himself as he fought with Finn, and could blitz BMO who was able to store map information about All Known Universes. Jake on the other hand is capable of throwing the Lich into the sun while in space, could react to an energy source that moved a land mass across the entire galaxy, and finally he was able to perceive a bunch of things while travelling to the 4th dimension and witnessing the universe's history backwards. So overall both have really neat speed feats..
Mordecai and Rigby don't just run from danger, they run away from their responsibilities and park duties, so they're obviously immensely fast. Mordecai could ride a microwave that travelled to a Dimension at the end of time, rode a pony that would physically go back in time, and is capable of running away from a large black hole. Rigby on the other hand could pilot his spaceship which is capable of evading and reacting to moving timelines, was able to escape from dinosaurs that could move in space time itself, and could fly through space with a sword attacking drones. Both are capable of driving the space cart which could fly across the universe in 20 seconds, are able to spin Infinite donuts, and were able to punch Klorgbane across the Solar System.
In terms of finite speed, while Finn and Jakes best finite feet is reacting to a bunch of asteroids while travelling to Mars in a very fast beam, Mordecai and Rigby have much faster finite feats like driving the space cart which could travel across the universe, and being capable of punching Klorgbane across the Solar System in a cycle. And the basketball forms would allow Mordecai and Rigby to have way better travel speed in general. Although when it comes to non finite feats, both have infinite speed feats and Immeasurable speed feats that'd allow them to match each other in speed. If there had to be a certain victor then Mordecai and Rigby are way more consistent in their infinite feats..like they have way too much Immeasurable stuff..so yeah this category goes to MORDECAI AND RIGBY.
Scaling
Let's keep this simple, both scale to a shit ton of crazy stuff. Finn and Jake can scale to Prismo who could replicate the Adventure Time universe which would allow Finn and Jake to scale to Low Multi. Meanwhile Mordecai and Rigby scale to many threats who could destroy the universe and beyond, but they also scale to the Timenado which could affect the Theoretical Mall allowing Mordecai and Rigby to scale to Multi+. But with the Enchiridion, Finn and Jake could amp themselves to also reach Multi+ levels. When it comes to speed, Finn and Jake can scale to Ice King perceiving a whole universe which gets..yeah I'm not gonna say that number cuz it's too big. Meanwhile Mordecai and Rigby scale to Benson who could perceive all of space and time itself being reversed and presented to him so both can get around similar ranges. So this category goes to uhh…ok AP goes to MORDECAI AND RIGBY, but with the Enchiridion, AP and Speed in general becomes a STALEMATE.
So accounting absolutely everything for both sides, Mordecai generally take AP with mid and higher ends with and without scaling, they normally take speed without scaling and are generally way more impressive in travel speed thanks to basketball powers, while Finn and Jake could match AP stats by being amped via the Enchiridion offering them Cosmic Imagination. But in general Mordecai and Rigby seem to have more advantages in base and have better displays of travel speed and AOE. This category Mid-diff goes to MORDECAI AND RIGBY.
Summary
Finn and Jake
“Jake!? What are you doing!? I just had my donkin' epiphany!”
“I know …I'm just coming back for fun, cause it's great being alive with you."
" Hehe…good reason.”
Advantages
- The Enchiridion could make stats match each other
- Finn is far more competent and knowledgeable of combat
- The Primordial Ooze could negate the infinite lives
- Porcelain Llama could seal Mordecai and Rigbys souls in the spirit realm
- Absorbing Mordecai and Rigbys souls could perhaps give them some time to use their stuff
- Can heal all injury and damage with the Guardian Sap and Cyclops tears
- Time Pepper could Incap Mordecai and Rigby by keeping them stuck mid time travel
- Finn and Jake are probably better people
- They're way better at their jobs..
=
- Both are very much in Skill and Experience
- Both are considerably equal in Versatility and power count
- Equally as immature and could donk stuff up since they don't think things through sometimes
- Jake and Rigby can sometimes be lazy and kind of a liability if they don't feel like doing anything
- Both are getting new content
Disadvantages
- Have less Incap options and ways to put down Mordecai and Rigby permanently
- Don't have counters to all of their kit being sent back in time
- Don't have support and summons as good as Mordecai and Rigby
- It would be very out of character to use the Enchiridion at its full potential against people who aren't really evil or anything
- Seriously the stuff Finn did with those little people is insane..
- Yeah what he did to Flame Princess was terrible
- Jake died..
Mordecai and Rigby
“Hey, do you think those old video games are still in the shed?”
“Yeah, we should check it out for old cart's sake!”
“Hmm hmph, Woooooooh"
“I can't believe we used to do that….”
Advantages
- Generally have much better stats than Finn and Jake
- Are generally way more unkillable and have more resistances to Finn and Jakes best stuff
- Have way better support and summons in comparison thanks to…having Pops.
- Have way more Incap options that could permanently put Finn and Jake down
- They can just send all of Finn and Jakes weapons and arsenal back in time
- Have dura neg from just rapping or doing awesome poetry
- Their bodies could survive without a conscience so they could probably try and get their souls back
- Have ways of getting all of their items and arsenal back even if they get destroyed or taken away
- Had a better series finale villain..
- Mordecai actually gets laid in the future
- Are way more incompetent and are generally dumber than Finn and Jake
- They tend to get more mad at each other and get along less (not a huge factor but still..)
- Have nothing against the Porcelain Llamas soul sealing
- Can't steal or read the Enchiridion because..yeah they're not heroes.
- Yeah what Mordecai did to CJ was terrible
- The wedding scene…
- Rigby died..
Conclusion
In conclusion, yeah we're in the conclusion now. Finn and Jake are very very impressive and powerful, more powerful than even I expected. They have ways of incapping Mordecai and Rigby and they're generally more competent and better as friends, plus Cosmic Imagination is an amazing power and it helps them match in stats. Unfortunately Mordecai and Rigby have way more counters to Finn and Jake's best stuff, are way more unkillable, have way more Incap options and have better support and backup. Finn and Jake are absolutely impressive, they can withstand a good amount of things Mordecai and Rigby can do, and they're absolute units in battle. Unfortunately, Mordecai and Rigby are way more insane and can access way more powerful sources in just base form. Even with the Enchiridion, Mordecai and Rigby can match a lot of the haxes the Enchiridion has despite all it can do. They even have counters to cosmic imagination thanks to the Book of Darthon, and they just have way better defenses and can take away everything Finn and Jake. Friends can go through absolutely anything together, they can go through the hardest of struggles and Irregular Adventures, but it seems like Mordecai and Rigby are the greater duo and can go through even more with each other.
Ah..so the journey has ended, we're at the end point, things are ending and the blog is basically done now. Well this has been a great adventure hasn't it, so many weeks dedicated to something I love, so many weeks dedicated to my own adventure..yeah it was hard at times, yeah it was draining…but all adventures have this stuff, all adventures have their struggles but they also have their peaks. You can't stop the adventure before it ends or else you wouldn't find the treasure, I could've quit anytime but I didn't and here we are…I made a blog for my most beloved matchup of all time. You know what they say, if you stop halfway up the mountain then you'll never see the view. There will be lots of struggle but the end will be worth it, you'll be proud of your accomplishment and you'll be happy that it's done..not because it was terrible, but because you had lots of fun and it ended with such a good accomplishment. Perhaps that's what these shows always wanted to teach us, all growth, development, and the way life moves on depends on how you approach the adventure. You have to keep going, even if it's hard you'll find a way, and you'll always make it. But alas, enough with the sappy soul stuff we got a blog to finish reading. Finn and Jake were tenacious, tough, had Incap options and far more competent; but Mordecai and Rigby just had everything they needed to counter and pull off their best wincons. Mordecai and Rigby had a victory that's anything but Regular, while Finn and Jake had one hell of a last adventure…
Mordecai and Rigby have escaped this deadly fate and see tonight's winner
Finn and Jake on the other hand, have been sentenced to Death By Blog
