The hands of someone who wants to take everything and have it for himself, we all know the greatest power doesn't come from magic..it comes from money! And his big scheme to work, he has to make as many deals and bargains with mortals and dark beings as possible. You all may know him as the potion seller of New Orleans, but most know him as…

Before We Start!

We'll basically be using all pieces of Disney media Dr. Facilier appears in, you all know the rules and so do I. We'll even use Once Upon a Time cuz, why the hell not, there's no other version of him so might as well... it's owned by Disney anyways. Also this blog is in no way shape or form meant to put a bad light onto voodoo which is an actual religion, it's a religion of healing and balance and Facilier is only meant to represent someone who uses that power for selfish purposes, the movie itself shows this even with figures like Mama Odie, just wanted to clarify that! Now go on and read the blog…

History 


“You're in my world now, not your world, and I got friends on the other side…”

Alright boys, let's keep this short and simple, Facilier waits for no explanation, he's the Voodoo philanthropist, the Dark Dealer of New Orleans, The Shadow Man that haunts Louisiana! Little Ol’ Facilier was born under a very knowledgeable and beloved Voodoo healer, she helped many of those that were unfortunate, and she wanted to teach her boy how special and amazing it was to learn this art, and to heal those who need healing. He wanted to learn the culture just like his mother, however that interest and love faded as his mother passed away from sickness. He lost his belief, he lost his love, the world could not protect her, this healing did not keep her safe, it took her away, and he vowed to strike back at the corrupt world that took her away from him. As he was in grief, the corrupt Loa spirits saw this as the perfect opportunity to take in a minion, a pet to fulfill their desires. Facilier did not want to learn the culture like all of the others, he wanted to cheat, to take the easy route, he would make a deal with the Loa and borrow power from them.

Facilier opened a business in New Orleans, he would become the Voodoo Doctor and sell potions, fortunes, and many more in order to make quick bucks and gain power for his friends on the other side. However, as the years passed, his business and livelihood became obsolete. Why? Because the rich came and showed their higher power, Facilier could not stand for it, he became desperate, he wanted that power for himself, and he wanted to be at the top of the world. He had thought of many plots to potentially take over New Orleans, he could use Big Daddy La Bouff to become rich and powerful, he could use a pawn to marry his daughter and take that money for himself, and at the same time could become so powerful he could offer all of those souls to his friends. But how could he do this? Well Lucky for him…today was the day a prince arrived in town…a potentially gullible Prince..the perfect victim for his plans. He better be ready, because the shadow man was about to make his dreams become nightmares, how could things possibly go wrong…..

Skill and Experience

Dr. Facilier is the ultimate deal maker, all he does is make deals with people in order to get what he wants, and it's surprisingly effective. Thanks to his Tarot cards he could see your desires, your past, and what you truly want from the future. He uses that against you in order to get what he wants in a deal and to purposely put you in the palm of his hands. He did this with Prince Naveen, who seeked riches in his future, and with the butler Lawrence who seeked the role similar to Naveen. I'm a big twist of his deal, he turned the Prince into a frog, promised green in his future like he promised. And his deal with Lawrence ensured someone who would do whatever he wanted in the name of greed and money, putting both in the palm of his hands. He continued to manipulate Lawrence and put him in a position of weakness, promising him whole buckets of riches as long as they could continue this plan, using his hatred of being on the back-burner to further manipulate him into doing his bidding. 

He's generally a master manipulator, he used Tiana's fathers death to force her into a deal. Claiming that she didn't love him because she didn't want to bring him back, claimed that her mother would be so happy to see her husband again…Jesus Christ. Facilier promised Tiana that he would resurrect her daddy, make Naveen a human again to keep him safe and give her everything he wanted. However he also realized keeping Naveen would mess things up, so he also made her believe if she was in love with Naveen again, she would lose everything all over again. Facilier always forced Tiana into a corner, making her believe she would either have to make a deal with the shadow man, or watch everyone she knows and loves die. One time Dr. Facilier would kidnap everyone Tiana knows and loves, even just new friends, and stated that he would remove them all from her life until he convinced Tiana that his friends on the other side were behind it. If he could make her see that her stubborn resistance to using his special new potion was causing others to suffer, she would come to heel.

Arsenal

Tarot Cards

The cards…the cards will tell..the past, the present, and the future as well. The cards…the cards…just take 3, take a little trip into the future with me. With these, he could look into the past, present and future of those he's making deals with, knowing their deepest desires and using it against them in order to make a deal.

Palisman

A unique artifact that Facilier uses to ensure his transformation effects can last long enough for his plans to come into fruition. With the blood of Prince Naveen, he was able to transform the Prince into a frog and also transform Lawrence into Naveen via wearing the necklace.

Growing potion

Via a pretty unique potion Facilier created, he made hair grow on a balding man.. unfortunately the side effects were…too much hair.

Chest of Flames

He hasn't even tried this! Still really cool right..

Party Disguise

He blends in with the shadows, but also the environment. Facilier used this disguise to blend in with a party so he can spy on Lawrence who was transformed into Prince Naveen.

Voodoo Doll

Dr. Facilier is able to create voodoo dolls of anyone he wants to target for his plans, this allows him to bypass conventional durability if he so happened to prick the doll, causing events like heart attacks if he so pleased.

Mind Altering Tincture

Facilier has multiple small vials full of very unique mixtures, these were made for his more stubborn clientele but they still work. Anyone who drinks these potions will be more malleable to his wishes, so anyone who would normally reject his deals would fall for what he wanted, making them far easier to manipulate for his schemes.

Frog Potion

Facilier actually developed a potion that could turn people into frogs rather than using a complicated deal ritual, only side effect is that he has to make sure he doesn't use it on himself..

Firefly Ruby

Facilier spent most of his life trapped between worlds, his soul being stuck in two places at once, and his voodoo being severely weakened because of the soul entrapment. However wearing this would prevent that, protecting his very soul from being stuck and setting himself free from a deal he made.

Abilities

Shadow manipulation

He's called the “shadow man" for obvious reasons, with the help of voodoo magic he could interact with his own shadow. He could also manipulate the shadows of others, allowing him to affect people without them even touching them. And it's not just these shadow-like abilities, Facilier can also engulf himself into the darkness and almost become invisible.

Flame Manipulation

With his voodoo magic, Facilier was able to light his lanterns on fire with just a movement.

Deal-Making

Never make a deal with a dark sinner, especially one like the shadow man. Once you make a deal with him, then you are in his debt. All deals come with a price, and he'll make sure the price puts you in the most unfortunate position…

Resurrection

This kind of voodoo magic costs a price, but Facilier does have the ability to bring people back from the dead if he so wishes to, like he did with Naveen when Tiana forced him to do so.

Summoning

And he says he can't conjure anything for himself…Facilier is able to summon a lot of things like the voodoo dolls, his friends, and even animalistic creatures.

Soul Manipulation

Facilier loves to use voodoo dolls to channel the power of the loa, and in order to channel that power, he must manipulate the souls of his victims. He doesn't necessarily have to be up-close and personal with the victim, he simply has to know of their existence and could do this anywhere or anytime. Facilier has made many, many, many voodoo dolls of people, imbuing these objects with a token of powerful emotions to inflict harm from a distance…

Projection

With his own voodoo magic, Facilier can project the very essences and dreams of what his dealers want. He even did this with his very own friends on the other side, all in order to make sure they give him the resources he needs.

Illusions/Reality Warping

Illusions that are so effective you'd think he was reality warping, I mean it might as well be with how convincing and almost physical it is. He can use his voodoo magic to make large scale illusions and even transform others, all for deceit and manipulation. Facilier can basically pull a pennywise and create entire worlds that he can control, as he says himself. He could trap people in large scale settings, Facilier was able to place Tiana in the past and future, made her watch her parents in pain and become tortured by her decisions. He was able to completely stop her movement, she couldn't run or reach her beloved parents almost as if she was stuck in quick sand. 

Telekinesis

Facilier has a lot of experience using his voodoo powers to move objects, even objects that are much bigger than he is! Oh yeah, he also has giant tarot cards…pretty consistent actually. Facilier also basically has the force, and could stop incoming attacks and cause them to bounce back, or move people in the air and suspend them like he was Darth Vader.

Technology Manipulation

With his presence alone, Facilier can consistently mess with the electricity in the room, making lights flicker off and on.

Wind Manipulation

Dr. Facilier was able to somehow manipulate the wind and make a bunch of tarot cards whirl around like a cyclone so they could fly into his hand..mostly for intimidation.

Clairvoyance

Dr. Facilier has the ability to know everything about his victims, and I mean almost everything. He knew about Tiana's dreams and everything she wanted, he knew her past, her personal history. He was able to show Tiana what her daddy was going through, his struggles, all to hopefully manipulate her into giving him what he wanted. He does this with almost everyone he wants to trick, he knows all about their life and everything they desire.

Teleportation

Dr. Facilier has the ability to disappear into the shadows, as his name suggests. It's implied he could do this in the movie, but this is pretty blatant. He can also forcefully teleport others away, speaking of which…

BFR

Facilier has the useful ability to simply just force someone away from him. Like when he simply just swiped his hands and forced Rumplestiltskin to be in a car, quite impressive range too.

Transmutation

Why doesn't he use this more often? Is he stupid? But yes, Facilier has the ability to transform multiple people at once into frogs!

Duplication

While it's not exact duplication, Facilier has the ability to duplicate his shadow multiple times over.

Fate Manipulation

This isn't an ability Facilier can just use anytime, but it's still something his power can cause. His deals are able to affect the world in many ways, it was stated that his deals altered the very fate of the world itself. He caused a disturbance in the universe, disrupted the order of things, and disturbed fate to the point the universe itself had to intervene to correct everything Facilier caused.

Disney Heroes Battle Mode

Assisted by his friends from the other side, Dr. Facilier uses his tricks and curses to cause mayhem on the battlefield, equipped with forcefields and flame projectiles!

Skills

  • Seeing Green - Dr. Facilier places a totem on the closest enemy, turning them into a frog. He also applies a shield to himself. When the shield is destroyed, the enemy will turn back into their original form.
  • Facilier's totem cannot be avoided or reduced by evasion, tenacity, or dodges.
  • The Cards will tell - Dr. Facilier throws 3 tarot cards at random enemies, dealing damage with each card. Each card also decreases the enemy’s attack speed by 75% for 15 seconds, silences them for 14 seconds, or stuns them for 10 seconds.
  • Shadow Snake - Dr. Facilier sends out one of his friends from the other side to strike the enemy with the most HP, dealing damage and stunning them for 14 seconds. If Dr. Facilier KO's an enemy with this skill, the remaining cooldown of this skill is reduced to 0 seconds.
  • Conjuring a curse - Whenever Dr. Facilier damages an enemy with one of his skills or basic attacks, they are cursed for 17 seconds.
  • Tip of the Hat - Enemies damaged by “The Cards Will Tell” are also sapped for 9 seconds. For every 3 enemies Dr. Facilier curses, the remaining cooldown of "The Cards Will Tell" is reduced by 3 seconds.

Disney Sorcerer's Arena

I mean yeah y'all already know the rundown on him…y'all came for his abilities after all smh..

Abilities

  • Tarot Toss - Deal up to 4,696 damage to target opponent. 50% chance (+5% chance per 'Downtown Villain' teammate) to instead throw a Wild Card, which deals additional effects:
  • Wild Card: Inflict [OFFENSE DOWN], [DEFENSE DOWN] or [SLOW] for 2 turns.
  • Heart Card: Inflict [CHARM] for 1 turn.
  • Skull Card: Inflict Instant Defeat. If used against Player or Dangerous opponents this card instead deals up to 11,560 damage. Damage dealt is unavoidable.
  • Transformation Central - Inflict [POLYMORPH FROG] on the target opponent for 1 turn. [POLYMORPH FROG] has the following effects:
  • 40% Defense reduction. 20% Offense reduction. 25% Speed reduction.
  • On application, reduce Speed Meter by 30% (+5% per 'Downtown Villain' teammate).
  • Friends on the other side - Grant target teammate [LIFE DRAIN] for 2 turns. Grant Shield worth 12% of target's maximum Health, +10% per Downtown Villain teammate.
  • Target teammate gains [TAUNT] for 2 turns.
  • Cleanse 1 Harmful effect on target teammate.
  • Dark Redemption - On an opponent or teammate being defeated, restore 4,756 health to this character and to all teammates.
  • Restore 55% bonus Health per Downtown Villain teammate.
  • If a teammate is a Downtown Villain character, 45% chance to grant [CONTINUOUS HEALING], restoring 9,512 Health
  • Evil Deeds - Downtown Villain teammates gain the following:
  • 15% Potency.
  • 22% Offense when attacking an opponent with a Harmful effect.

Snakes

Dr. Facilier can summon snakes that he can use to restrain people he needs something from..like blood! He does this again to restrain Tiana.

Voodoo Creatures

Just some voodoo creatures that Facilier summons for the heck of it, sometimes it's just to vibe out when he's feeling real jazzy.

Shadow Creatures

With the help of his friend, Facilier unleashed dozens of shapeshifting shadow creatures across New Orleans. They could interact with the shadows of other objects or creatures, and can travel across New Orleans and even the swamps in minutes. Their only weakness is pure light, but they're still able to instantly reform from it, and they're capable of projecting sound-based energy blasts at their opponents. And it's not like they're just shadow-intangible beings, they actually can physically attack and affect people like when they carried Facilier to the other side.

Voodoo Spirits

In many of his Disneyland appearances, Facilier displays the ability to summon and control spirits by his side, the real deal of dark magic…

Bayou Belles

Just a couple of Bayou zombie ladies that Dr. Facilier raised from the swamps to aid him in his performances. Even more proof that Facilier has the power to raise the dead even when they're already dead…

Friends on the Other Side

He's got friends on the other side…his friends are the mystical forces that give Facilier his voodoo abilities, and they will help him if he promises him power that they could attain. Of course if Facilier doesn't pay his debt, then they'll turn on him. They have many powerful abilities including offering Facilier powerful spirits and demons, and they're capable of absorbing souls which is what they wanted to do to all of New Orleans citizens. They can also send others to the other side, trapping a soul in a realm they control. But if he truly makes the deal of a lifetime, then sometimes his friends will actually help him in combat and fight off his enemies. They could also summon powerful lighting to attack people, and generally affect the environment and summon themselves in certain locations if they felt like it.

  • Successfully tricked Tiana into giving him everything he wanted with manipulation and trickery
  • Kidnapped many people that were close to Tiana, including Big Daddy La Bouff
  • Has technically been resurrected and saved from the Other Side multiple times throughout his history

  • His shadow monsters are able to travel across New Orleans and the Bayou in minutes
  • Was able to show up and take Lawrence by surprise, despite not being in the scene at all prior

Flaws & Weaknesses

Facilier's main “weakness" is that a lot of his own voodoo magic cannot work on himself. As he states, “fun fact about Voodoo, ya can't conjure a thing for myself." Obviously this doesn't mean he literally can't use anything for himself, but objects like the Palisman don't have the same effect on him like it does others, which is why he usually has to require help from those who owe him a debt. Speaking of which, the main weakness of Facilier is that he's always going to be in debt to his shadows and his friends on the other side. While they may be very effective now, they'll want their payment another day. And of course, Facilier relies on his magical resources and powers more than anything, he'll move into the shadows if he's at a disadvantage and attempt to use his borrowed powers and voodoo magic.

Before the Conclusion!

THEY'RE JUST FIREFLIES

So..yeah…Ray dies and becomes a star…and a bunch of fireflies connect stars to create constellations. So, is this legit or something we could ignore? First things first, yes they may just seem like “normal fireflies", you'd be surprised to know that in the series they're seen as far more magical than you think. In some Hoodoo culture which the film takes inspiration from, fireflies can represent many things, sometimes watchers and protectors. In many written works such as this one, they contain a lot of spiritual energy, especially over the bayou of New Orleans, so them being "just fireflies” especially in this context isn't necessarily the smoking gun that shoots down any potential args to be made since even in the movie there's a lot to suggest they're far more magical than they seem. But regardless, can we actually use this? Well, maybe. To be honest, this is an argument that would most likely be a divisive one. On one hand, it's only a mini game and shouldn't be taken seriously, and for all we know they're not actually connecting stars and it's just visualization.

But there are possible arguments to support this, first of all, how did Ray die and become a star? Well there's indications provided in the movie that his light is essentially his life/soul, and when he dies that light becomes the star in the sky. This is suggested by Ray already knowing that Evangeline was a firefly in the sky as he adores her for being the brightest firefly he's ever seen…and even as stars she was much brighter than he was, so yes it seems like that's just how naturally bright their lights are. Suddenly, a fireflies light being able to connect stars to make constellations isn't so crazy. But once again, what if it was just an exaggeration, obviously it's just a mini game not important to the story…or is it? You see the mini game is actually an important part of the story being told as it was made as a memorial for Ray, it's very much a very real and emotional moment for the characters, and the entire reason for it is that they wanted to create constellations so Ray could see it..which Tiana states he did.

Remember, it doesn't state “trace the stars, draw constellations, make constellation lights", it says “connect the stars in the sky" which means they're supposed to be actual stars in the night sky, and even Tiana comments on them being constellations. But, who cares? Obviously the mini game is just highlighting itself, it's most likely a game mechanic right? Well no, throughout the game the fireflies themselves are the guides of the game..which makes sense, that's their spiritual purpose. That statement isn't really accurate to what happens in the game and is mostly just speculation, but we do see the fireflies themselves actually connect these stars and create celestial objects. Plus the fact Ray, as a star, actually reacts to these constellations, implies that yes…they're actually being affected and it's a pretty important story event.

You could just chalk it up to “outlier" which…well honestly that's completely fair, although you gotta admit it's consistent for the story. But you may also ask, can Facilier even scale? Well…yeah, Facilier is the one who killed Ray. There's unironically a big point to Facilier in VS saying "he couldn't even physically affect a firefly” but there's an actual reason for it. Facilier is also knowledgeable on the bayou, we can see that he specifically targeted Ray's light, which actually did cause his light to fade out, indicating that yes…Facilier actually did damage and affect it in some way. Overall, this feat will be labeled as Debatable because like it said, it will most likely be divisive. But where would it get in stats? Well usually creating constellations gets in the Large Star (though this feat being used as an example involves more detailed constellations so these would most likely get lower) range which is an understandable end. And speed usually gets in the Millions - Billions C (MFTL+) range. So if you buy this, Dr. Facilier would be Large Star and MFTL+... I never thought I would say that-

Once Upon a Time scaling

Similar to Descendants in a way (though I doubt Facilier could scale in that series) Facilier can scale to certain events within the show, not only because he's seen as an actual threat to many people, he's seen as an equal to powerful sorcerers such as Mother Gothel…a magic user equal to many many many others, including magic that even the Dark Ones wish they could accomplish. Such as the Snow Queen who could create a storm that shakes a mountain, which gets City Level. And she could also freeze Arendelle which gets Small-Large Country level. Other feats also include Mr. Gold creating a thunderstorm and Ursula controlling the seas which both get Island Level. And finally, Hyde dodges a bolt of electricity shot by Emma which gets Subsonic in speed. Although this is only if you're fine with this kind of cross scaling for characters like Facilier, who are far more limited in appearances in comparison to constant villains like Maleficent or Captain Hook.

Conclusion

“I hope you're satisfied, but if you ain't, don't blame me!! You can blame my friends on the other side!!"

  • Tarot Cards he could use to tell the past present and future
  • Multiple disguises to stay undercover
  • Voodoo dolls he could easily transfer individual souls to, so he could bypass conventional durability
  • Potions and tinctures that forcefully make people malleable to his wishes and tricks, so they're far easier to make deals with
  • Multiple Transmutation methods like frog potions or transmutation magic that lets him turn multiple people into frogs at once
  • Firefly Ruby that protects him from certain binding deals and protects his soul from being trapped within a spiritual realm
  • And no this isn't an outlier to the Other Side, that was caused by a very specific deal and source to the Loa, in fact said sources allow him special resistances
  • Can interact with shadows, uses his shadow to interact with people without having to do so himself, can duplicate his shadow, and can disappear into the shadows.. he's called the Shadow Man for a reason.
  • His deals are binding, and they have such a large affect on the world they could even interrupt fate, which is useful since he could alter the deals so it benefits him
  • Is able to raise the dead such as summoning zombies, or just bring people back to life if he wishes
  • His illusions and projections can also act as reality warping, shifting the very environment and practically trapping the victim in a world Facilier can control
  • Can move objects with his magic, such as giant Tarot Cards, can move people and flail them around, and even stop attacks like he was a force user
  • Can make technology mess up around him, his mere presence causing the electricity to buffer
  • Clairvoyance allows him to know everything about his victims, from their personal history, to their deepest desires, to what will make them break
  • Can teleport himself, teleport others away, and BFR victims to completely different locations with the swipe of his hands
  • Can summon snakes, many voodoo creatures, dozens of shadow creatures that can physically attack people and project energy blasts, Voodoo spirits, and his Friends on the Other Side who can summon lightning, consume souls, trap souls within the other side, summon lightning, and shift the environment
  • Can resist methods of Magic Nullification because of his specific kind of voodoo and sources of power, making it so normal magic null isn't effective on him

Possible Matchups:

Rasputin (Anastasia)

“My curse made each of them pay, but one little girl got away! Little Anya, beware

Rasputin's awake!”

Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin was the mad monk..or…royal advisor of the Romanov family, who specialized in black magic. However the day he committed treason was the day he was exiled from the kingdom, so he would sell his very soul in exchange for an unholy reliquary. With this unimaginable power, he would put a curse on the Romanovs and cause the Russian revolution. This would kill off the Romanovs, except for one, the daughter of Tsar Nicholas III. He would drown and remain in limbo until the curse was complete, until the death of Anastasia. Now this a simple yet effective matchup, they're dark magic users who target royalty and have to pay their debt or else their very souls are on the line, like I said, simple but effective! And the fight dynamic could be pretty fun, the dream abilities and illusions could blend well nicely, the summoning aspect is pretty fun, and they have abilities that could blend well together, it's just neat!

Tahm Kench (League of Legends)

“"Call me king, call me demon. Water forgets the names of the drowned.”

Another simple yet effective matchup! The River King, Tahm Kench is an ancient river demon who travels through the rivers and waterways of the kingdom, an infamous Dealmaker who promises to fulfil the wishes of those with greedy desires and want to make a certain exchange. But beware making a deal with him, or you may get eaten alive, or have your flesh or very soul feasted on. With their charm and swagger, there's a neat contrast to be made, especially Tahm being a river demon which could be thematically fitting with the New Orleans Bayou. Both can teleport, create mystical shields if needed, spawn certain magical abilities, and..of course..make deals! Like I said, another matchup that's simple yet very fun! Also this is a very funny series combo…

Rumplestiltskin (Shrek)

"Just sign it, and all your problems will disappear.”

Probably my favorite alt for Facilier, hey wait a second we know this guy! But here's a little reminder! Rumple was but a humble dealmaker who wanted to trick others into giving him everything he wanted, which was ultimate power! But Shrek ruined the chance, and Rumple would vow revenge on Shrek for ruining everything. But after tons of manipulation and emotional blackmail, he would trick Shrek into giving away the day he was born so Rumple got everything he wanted. Of course both are dealmakers that use a shit ton of manipulation to get everything they want, generally it just vibes a lot, and the comparison between Shrek and Tiana is very funny. The fight dynamic could be fun with Rumple's support in his kingdom and Facilier's summons, the magic dynamic could work. Dynamically it's not my favorite, but it's fun enough to say it's my favorite alt!

Alastor (Hazbin Hotel)

“Let's begin, I'm gonna make you wish that I'd stayed gone. Tune on in, When I'm done, your status quo will know its race is run. Oh, this will be fun!”

Now this is my favorite for Facilier, and favorite for Alastor as well! They're both Louisiana, New Orleans Mama's boys with lots of musical influence, practitioners in the dark aspects of Voodoo rather than the traditional healing practices. With industries and businesses that were far more popular in their prime, until the more modern and rich came in and made them almost obsolete. They became desperate to become the top dog, to become more powerful than anyone who tried to oppose them, sure they were powerful now and used intimidation to walk all over people, it wasn't enough to make a larger name for themselves. While they became desperate and tried their best to gain power from others and become more powerful themselves, they hate to admit the fact they're on leashes because of their power dependence…also they may as well be actual dogs. They manipulate “princesses" that have very big dreams and pretend to aid those dreams for their own gain, force people to be at their service, run away like cowards when they're at a disadvantage, and have many similar shadow abilities. Speaking of which, they generally share a ton of abilities with each other, abilities that could naturally bounce off the other.

But what about the scale? Alastor can become monstrous, create portals, and is a much more conventional fighter. Facilier uses his resources rather than directly being in combat, so how can we make this work? I just told you! Alastor is more conventional but that doesn't mean it can't work against someone more evasive, someone who's in the shadows, if anything it makes things more interesting. Facilier's shadows and his Friends could match the scale and light show aspect of Alastor's dynamic, even raising the dead or summoning spirits can counter Alastor's own summons, even their voodoo creatures are similar. And of course if you really want something bigger in scale, Facilier's illusions can counter Alastor's own reality warping to the point they even feel real enough to effect the Radio Demon. His generally there's many, many unique interactions here and their difference in fight strategy honestly makes things very interesting, so yeah! This one's my favorite for Facilier!
